As with most of the private moments in her life, it was played out in a very public arena.
Pregnant Katie Price announced the end of her third marriage on Twitter – accusing her husband of having an affair with her best friend.
The former glamour model, better known as Jordan, told almost two million followers that part-time stripper Kieran Hayler, with whom she has one child and is expecting another, had been having a ‘full blown sexual affair’ with Jane Pountney.
But the husband of Miss Price's 'best friend' has tonight denied his wife had a seven month affair with the star's husband.
Businessman Derrick Pountney, 51, said tears had been shed at his home today during crisis talks over the feud between Katie, his wife of 11 years Jane, and Katie's third husband Kieran.
Derrick said the row, which Katie launched on Twitter, had been a 'storm in a teacup' but could not say if either marriage would survive. A source close to Miss Price has tonight told The Sun that the glamour model had suspected 'for weeks' that something was 'going on'.

This afternoon Miss Price and Mr Hayle arrived at the home Mrs Pountney shares with her husband in Sussex, for a showdown. Mr Hayler walked separately to his wife with his head down and his hands in his pockets - he was let in to the large home by Mrs Pountney's husband Derrick

Derrick, who has a daughter and son with Jane, said: 'We are good friends of Katie and Kieran's and have been good friends of Katie for a good 20 years.
'A lot of this drama has been a storm in a teacup and there's a lot of misunderstandings to sort out.'
She said she had ‘caught them’ and branded Mrs Pountney a ‘wh*re’, ‘sl*t’ and ‘home-wrecker’, while describing Hayler as a ‘disgusting human being’.
Mrs Pountney, 49, has been one of Miss Price’s closest friends for almost two decades and was a bridesmaid when the 35-year-old married Hayler, 27, little more than a year ago. She was pictured with the couple and her own husband Derrick, 52, after the lavish ceremony in the Bahamas.
But it seems that friendship is over, with Miss Price writing on Twitter: ‘Sorry to say me and Kieran are divorcing. Him and my best friend Jane Pountney been having a full blown sexual affair for seven months.’
Miss Price, who is six months pregnant, has an eight-month-old son, Jett, with Hayler. The couple got engaged within weeks of meeting and married in January last year.
Mr Pountney added: 'Jane and Katie have had a good old chat here this afternoon.
'Will she and Kieran break up, or could they get back together? I don't really know.
'As for Jane and I working things out... again, I don't know.
'This 'affair' has not really happened like it has been portrayed. I've known about it for about four weeks myself. All four of us are good friends, but things between Kieran and Jane just went a bit far.
'There has not been a 'full blown' affair going on, it was more like a drunken kiss.
'Now Katie has gone and put the whole thing for everyone to read about on Twitter, which she didn't really need to do, and a drunk kiss has turned into a full on affair.
'That's not the case. I knew about what had happened before today, it's not new to me.
"There were tears shed here today, all sorts went on. But Katie and Jane talked, they have been friends a long time and they are OK now.
'I was at Katie's house earlier today and brought Kieran round here. I see myself as the peacemaker of the group.
'Everyone is just about on speaking terms now. I hope they can work it out.'
He said it was a 'bit of a shock' to see Katie's accusation on Twitter.
In an interview shortly after they wed, Miss Price declared that the former builder would receive ‘f*** all’ of her estimated £45million fortune if they split because ‘it’s what will keep us together’.
Miss Price, who has four children by three fathers, arrived with Hayler for a showdown at the Pountneys’ five-bedroom detached home in an affluent West Sussex village. They were quickly let in shortly before the curtains were drawn at 3pm.

She added: 'I'll never diet again. I'll never drive myself as mad as I did because when I was thin I didn't feel sexy.'

It is the first time she has been pictured since the tragic death of her sister Peaches Geldof, who died suddenly at the age of 25 last month.

On Tuesday evening, Pixie Geldof, 23, was seen taking comfort in her friends - including Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw - as they arrived at the O2 in London to enjoy a night out at the Miley Cyrus concert.

Pixie and her pals were there watching Miley perform on the European leg of her Bangerz tour, and she stayed close to her pals as they were seen outside the venue.

The source claimed: 'She's working hard to keep her head down in the zone and staying focused'.

E! reported that Nick and her friend Alexa Chung had held back on extra work commitments to be 'more available' to Pixie.

The death of Tina McIntyre has yet to be aired on Coronation Street, but the cast were already busy filming the funeral scenes on Tuesday.

His real-life wife Lucy-Jo Hudson (Katy Harris) was also in the crowd, along with Jack P. Shepherd (David Platt), Phillip Lowrie (Dennis Tanner), Helen Worth (Gail Platt), Marc Bayliss (Rob Donovan), Ben Price (Nick Tyldesley), Mikey North (Gary Windass), and Jennie McAlpine (Fiz Stape).

Paul Walker's daughter Meadow, 15, shares poignant photo with the late actor

Unlike many children of celebrities, Paul Walker's daughter Meadow has kept quiet, choosing to not bring any attention to herself.

Until now. On Sunday the 15-year-old opened her official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. Her father's team, however, argued the accounts were opened to 'combat the imposter profiles that are constantly created.'

While establishing her online presence, the only child of the late actor (who died in a fiery car crash in November) also shared a tender but heartbreaking black-and-white photo with her father.

Paul's social media team made the announcement on The Fast & The Furious star's Facebook page.

'Any other profiles you may find on social networks are not associated with Meadow or Paul. – Team PW.'

In the endearing photo on Meadow's Facebook page, she and Paul are seated next to each other as they stare into each other's eyes.

Paul's co-star Vin Diesel also took to social media to reveal how he got to know the late actor's family in an emotional new blog post.

He added: 'His Father said, Paul loved you Vin... I awkwardly and nervously said, aw come on... then he said... you don’t have to get along every second to love each other... so true.'

Vin posted a picture of himself with Paul's brothers, believed to be on the set of Fast & Furious 7.

Producers confirmed earlier this month that Paul's brothers Caleb and Cody Walker have signed on to shoot the remaining scenes featuring the late star's character, Brian O'Connor, for the upcoming blockbuster.

The 40-year-old star was on a break from shooting the film when he died in a car crash in November and filming was put on hold until recently.

Walker's mother Cheryl recently dropped her bid to gain custody of Meadow after the 15-year-old's mother, Rebecca Soteros, 'agreed to go to rehab' for a 'serious drinking problem.'

Meadow is set to inherit the late actor's entire fortune, which estimates place at around $16 million.

The former That '70s Show co-stars also completed a road trip last Wednesday, when Ashton shared a photo with Mila at the World's Largest Peanut Monument in Ashburn, Georgia.

David Moyes has been sacked by Manchester United with immediate effect.
Chief executive Ed Woodward arrived at Carrington at 8am on Tuesday morning to inform the Scot face-to-face of the news.
Moyes had already been informed of his fate and thanked club staff at the training complex in anticipation of his departure. The players were not present at the time.
