50 ways to reinvent the Ice Cream Sandwich this weekend

First of all, Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone! As I'm sure most of you are planning BBQs with friends this weekend, I thought this the most appropriate time to do a dessert feature I've been pondering for sometime. I feel as if I've had dozens of different types of Ice Cream Sandwiches this year and thought it high time that I share some of the amazing recipes I've come across along the way. Long gone are the days when ice cream sandwiches were simply wrapped goodies we pulled from the freezer. Oh no. In 2015, ice cream sandwiches are as gourmet as they come. This is all about a mind blowing experience and it seems everyone's imagination is working overtime to think of the next best way to make an ice cream sandwich new and fun.  I started an Ice Cream Sandwich recipe board on...

Nice Shoes? You need this doormat...

Oh, am I ever a sucker for a great doormat. Call me crazy, but I feel like I can always tell a lot from what people put on display as their welcome message. Sometimes it's sweet, other times it's in terrible humor. I find airing on the side of complimentary is always best. Saying "welcome home" seems so old fashioned. Why not, instead, make people feel good about their fashion choices and say it like you see it. "Nice shoes..." Now this doormat tells me I'm in a place I could definitely call home. My soul sister lays behind the door that has this as a welcome message.  For those of you looking, the Nice Shoes Doormat is available at Urban Outfitters for $29. Go forth and make people smile, from entrance hall to exit! ...

Competition: Win a two night stay in London at The Apartments by Sloane Club

For those of you that follow me on social platforms, you will have seen that earlier this month I checked in for a few days at The Apartments by Sloane Club just off Sloane Square. When I say "just off" I mean I could quite literally toss a rock from my window and it would land dead in front of the station. I'm not sure if I could have ever been more Sloaney in my wildest dreams. This is living in the thick of it. Calling the Kings Road my high street and places like The Botanist my local were moments to treasure over my three day stint as a resident of the Chelsea bureau. Now, there's so much more to say but let's kick off with the heart of it - the competition! The Apartments by Sloane Club have just reopened after a major refurbishment and they're keen to get some great people in for...
