Twice as nice! Paula Patton stands out in tangerine trousers before matching her husband Robin Thicke in black

Paula Patton has never been one to play it safe in the fashion department.
Making a bold statement, the actress donned a pair of vibrant tangerine trousers as she stepped out in New York on Friday.
Toning down the rest of her ensemble, she teamed them with a denim, button-down blouse and matching polka-dotted pumps.

To fit with her laid back look, the 37-year-old pulled her brunette locks into a ponytail and concealed her eyes with white cat-eye sunglasses.
And flaunting her designer flare, the 2 Guns actress sported a blue Goyard tote.
Later, Paula slipped into a darker outfit to leave New York with her 35-year-old R&B singer husband Robin Thicke - who currently has a No.1 hit single Blurred Lines.

She donned a black shirt, leather jacket, and skinny jeans that she teamed with a pair of black hidden-wedge sneakers.
Paula - who has been married to Robin since 2005 and has a three-year-old son Julian with him - let her locks down and ditched her white shades for another pair that fit better with her evening attire.
Coordinating with his doting wife, Robin wore a matching black pin-stried blaser and trousers, teamed with a white shirt and black-and-white sneakers.

He too was sporting shades even though it was quite dark outside.
The duo had a busy week of promotional appearances and performances, including Robin's stop by the NBC studio for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
Due to the controversy that the singer's music video has caused - featuring topless models and suggestive lyrics - Fallon, 38,  had Robin and The Roots perform a G-rated spin-off.
