with shrill updates as she prepared in earnest for the 2014 London
Marathon, a gruelling 26-mile slog that takes participants from
Blackheath to The Mall.
Limbering up ahead of the event, Bristol based model Amy Willerton – whose rigorous training regime has seen her pound the pavement during business trips to Southern California – was in high spirits as she mingled with fellow runners.
The 21-year-old, participant number 26778, sported a canary yellow T-shirt, black leggings and colourful Asics trainers as she went through a series of pre-marathon stretches.
Amy was joined on the day by
father Bruce as they endeavour to raise money for the Chickenshed
charity, a youth theatre company that provides creative opportunities
for youngsters – something that resonates with the former I’m A
Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here contestant.
‘I’m absolutely terrified as I have NEVER ran a marathon or even a half marathon at this point!’ she told the Bristol Post.
'Daddy Willerton however is experienced marathon runner and IRONMAN so I think he will be dragging me across the finish line.
