musical prowess was put on the back burner after he shot to
international fame as Edward Cullen in the Twilight franchise, but it
sounds like Robert Pattinson is getting back to his artistic roots.
The
actor is said to be working on his first studio album, but took a break
from the studio to head to Cannes Film Festival to promote two of his
new films.
On
Saturday night, Robert hung out with Liam Hemsworth and Gael GarcĂa
Bernal at the Vanity Fair and Armani party, not to mention a whole host
of famous faces.

At
the event held at Eden Roc, Pattinson went for a Modish style, in a
black bomber jacket, checked shirt and dark jeans with Adidas trainers.
The
28-year-old had jetted into Nice for the 67th annual Cannes Film
Festival on Friday, but his friend Brady Corbett has revealed that his
Hollywood pal has been busy in the studio.
‘He’s been busy producing his first album, which will be coming soon,’ Brady told The Sun newspaper.
Corbett also says that his musical friend has ‘always wanted to be a musician but got caught up in the success of the ‘Twilight saga.’

Robert
has proven himself to be quite the musical master, having featured on
the Twilight soundtrack with his original songs Never Think and Let Me
Sign, as well as playing the piano in the films.
He’ll be in Cannes for a few days to promote two new movies that are being presented at the 67th Film Festival.
In Maps To The Stars, he plays a Hollywood limo driver and engages in steamy sex scenes with co-star Julianne Moore.
