Mary-Kate Olsen has hinted she might make her own wedding dress.
The
27-year-old fashion designer - who previously worked on a bridal gown
for a friend with her sister and design partner Ashley - hasn't thought
about what to wear for her own big day since getting engaged to Oliver
Sarkozy in March, but has toyed with the idea of creating a dress
herself.
She
told WWD: 'I'm not even there yet. I think it may be a matter of
getting five or six, or making two or three and being stressed out. That
seems kind of far away. We'll take one step at a time.'

The
Olsen sisters are preparing to open the first standalone shop for their
The Row label in their hometown, Los Angeles, after deciding against
their adopted city of New York.
Mary-Kate said: 'We've always wanted our own store - it's always been part of the plan.
'It
was a toss-up between New York and Los Angeles, and when this space
became available, we jumped on it. It used to be a hair salon and my
sister and I used to come here, so we were very aware of the space.'
Ashley chimed in: 'We are from here, and The Row started here, so it was all very appropriate.'

sister co-founded several fashion labels - The Row and Elizabeth and
James, which are both high-end, and the more affordable lines Olsenboye

The
store is tucked away in Melrose Place and unusually boasts a swimming
pool in the courtyard, as well as offices where the sisters will work.
Mary
Kate added: 'We have all 170 pieces in our collection represented here.
A lot of stores obviously don't buy the whole collection, maybe 20per
cent, so this is really the place where we can present it like a
showroom.'
Mary-Kate revealed her engagement to French banker Olivier Sarkozy in March.
Olivier,
whose half-brother is former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, has two
children from a previous marriage - ten-year-old daughter Margot and
12-year-old son Julien.
