She gave birth to her second child late last month.

And Jessica Simpson has been spotted for the first time since welcoming Ace Knute into the world.

The 33-year-old was seen wearing a tie-dyed moo moo dress as she ran errands in Los Angeles on Thursday with an assistant.

The mother-of-two looked radiant in the rainbow-coloured dress, which she paired with brown platform heels and an over-sized orange handbag.

Jessica wore her blonde hair loose and wavy over her shoulders and shielded her eyes with large brown sunglasses.

She was seen waiting for an elevator as a female assistant stood by.

The singer hasn't been spotted since the birth of Ace via a scheduled C section on June 30.

Announcing the birth, the Fashion Star mentor's rep told USWeekly: 'Ace Knute (pronounced Ka-nute) Johnson has arrived! Mom and baby are doing great.'

'Jessica, Eric and Maxwell are thrilled to welcome the new addition to their family,' the rep continued.

Jessica and Eric are now eager to marry - but she wants to slim down first.

'Whenever the doctors give me the go-ahead, I’ll start training,' Simpson tells People magazine.

'I’m anxious to have my body back for myself, but I have to be patient. I don’t know how long it’s going to take, but I’m planning on working hard.'
