Jacqueline Jossa leads the glamour at the Inside Soap Awards in stunning dress with sheer back as she takes home prize for Best Actress

he beat off competition from Coronation Street’s Julie Hesmondhalgh, Emmerdale actress Lesley Dunlop and Michelle Keegan to be crowned Best Actress.
So it’s no surprise that Jacqueline Jossa wanted to dress to impress when she picked up the accolade at the Inside Soap Awards on Monday evening.
The EastEnders star turned heads in punky prom inspired dress by Patricia Bonaldi, featuring a tulle skirt and daring sheer back as she walked the red carpet at the event held at Ministry Of Sound.

Jacqueline has been involved in some excellent story lines over the last year – including of course her character’s struggle with alcohol.

It was a successful evening for EastEnders  as Tameka Empson was declared funniest female for her role as Kim Fox.
The soap also picked up two awards for its younger cast, with Khali Best named best newcomer as Dexter Hartman and Maisie Smith winning best young actor as Tiffany Butcher.
Jacqueline wasn’t however the the only soap star who tried to turn heads as they appeared on the red carpet.

Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote opted for a similar dress which featured an equally as intricate top.
Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe opted for a sophisticated ensemble showing off just a glimpse of her midriff in a cropped polo neck jumper with a below the knee skirt.
Her co-star Gemma Merna went for an entirely different look – leaving very little to the imagination in a PVC yellow dress with a chain neck detail.

The low-cut nature of the frock meant the blonde actress had plenty of cleavage on show as she walked the red carpet.
Jorgie Porter, who is also part of the McQueen family slipped into a smart leopard-print suit for the occasion, but ensuring it wasn’t entirely formal she showed off some cleavage.
Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent also opted for a suit, well one half of one at least, in a cream, double-breasted jacket which showed off her slim legs.

Former The Only Way is Essex star Lauren Goodger flaunted her curves in a black and white bandage dress, with cut-out panels around the waist.
She tweeted a picture of herself to her 1.1million followers on Twitter during the event, with the caption: 'Love my dress from @celebboutique thank you guys #soapawards'.
EastEnders' Rachel Bright was much more covered up for the occasion in a spotty, monochrome dress, with white collar, while her dark hair was worn in an up do.

While most stars chose short dresses, Holby City's Mary-Claire Carter shone in a all-black backless jumpsuit and simple matching heels.
Adiza Shardow, who plays Liberty Gordon in Waterloo Road, sparkled in a fringed black and gold mini dress which she paired with black heels.

She tweeted on the night to say: 'We won wohoooooo #waterlooroad #winning #bestdrama #boom'.

Short and sweet: Soap star Zoe Henry sports a black leather skirt while Emmerdale's Sian Reese-Williams chose a red patterned number

They may be spending every waking minute with each other while rehearsing for Strictly Come Dancing, but that didn't stop Iveta Lukosiute and Mark Benton spending a night off in each others company.
The pair even went the extra mile to make sure they were matching, as the blonde dancer chose a clingy, animal print gown which was coordinated with the actor's leopard-print tie.
Emmerdale's Zoe Henry, who wore a cute leather skirt and bright pink top, tweeted to celebrate saying: 'Ammaaaaazzzzzzzzinnnnnng!!!! We've won!!!!!! XX'.

Samantha Womack proved you can never go wrong with LBD (long black dress) which she teamed with a large circular belt and slicked back hair.
Kirsty-Leigh Porter, who plays Leela Lomax in Hollyoaks, tweeted: 'So....... We cannot contain the excitement..... #InsideSoaps #WithANewCrew @JessicaEllisUK @MrkieronR @stephanieannd'.
She wore a short, red tartan dress with chunky black lace-up boots, while her blonde hair was worn down and wavy.

It wasn't just the female stars who dressed to the nines, as Fabrizio Santino looked particularly dapper in a black suit, white shirt and polished shoes.
EastEnders' Himesh Patel however went for a slightly different look in grey ankle-grazing trousers, brown shoes and a denim-coloured shirt.
While it was an all-black ensemble for John Michie, who plays Karl Munro in Coronation Street, whereas Joe Tracini went for a much brighter, blue suit.

While her co-star Shona McGarty went for a much simpler all-black dress, which she jazzed up with a pair of snakeskin-effect shoes and cream bag.
It was a late night for Britain's Got Talent finalist Gabz, 14, who wore a colourful jacket and bright pink Dr. Martens boots.
