Laura Whitmore looks stunning in feathered mini dress at Global Fashion Awards

She’s a regular at London Fashion Week and loves to dress up in designer gems, so when it came to Wednesday night’s WGSN Global Fashion Awards Laura Whitmore pulled out all the stops.

The 28-year-old Irish TV presenter stood out on the red carpet in her feathered couture mini dress.

Looking gorgeous in her statement piece, Laura added some striking accessories just to make sure she fitted in at the high fashion night out, held at the Victoria & Albert museum in London.

The MTV presenter’s flamboyant dress was covered in white feathers giving a voluminous shape which was clinched in with a silver belt.

With the short hemline on the Nicholas Oakwell dress showing off Laura’s long legs, the blonde added to her stature with a pair of perspex and metallic block heels.

The star finished off her eccentric dress with a stunning gold perfume bottle clutch bag that coordinated with the metallic trim on her dress perfectly.

Laura seemed particularly pleased with her ensemble for the evening as she excitedly told her Twitter followers ahead of the event:
‘Dressed as a cloud... Nicholas Oakwell Couture’.
The fashion-lover recently admitted that she loves to ‘experiment’ with her day-to-day style, adding to the Express that she takes inspiration from some classic icons when it comes to dressing to impress:

‘Elegant, old school stars. Grace Kelly, Brigite Bardot and Audrey Hepburn,’ Laura says of her style icons.

Laura joined a host of stylish faces at Wednesday night’s ceremony, which honours individuals and brands who 'push the boundaries of fashion'.
Amber Le Bon also stood out on the red carpet in her floor length webbed Ermanno Scervino dress while Cat Deeley, who was hosting the ceremony, showed off her incredibly long pins in a glittery v-neck, black dress and Nicholas Kirkwood heels.

Victoria Beckham, Christian Louboutin and Karl Lagerfeld were among the sartorial stars nominated for an award.

Beckham, 39, who won at last year's ceremony, was nominated in the team-design category for Victoria Beckham Denim, the jeans clothing line she launched in 2009.

Speaking to the New York Times at the launch of her autumn/winter collection, she said: 'I have expanded the line to include more vintage washes, like the saturated deep indigo and the '70s blues.
