And Rosie Huntington-Whiteley proved she can even give the traditional, yet sensible, tea dress a sexy makeover as she stepped out in Beverly Hills, California, on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old model exuded effortless style in her racy semi-sheer grey number, which featured chic ruffled sleeves and a flirty and feminine frill hem.

Adding a touch of grungy glam to her girlie look, the Devon-born beauty teamed her pretty dress with a pair of gunmetal suede shoe boots by Isabel Marant, and toted an oversized crocodile skin handbag by Kate Moss for Longchamp.
The Transformers star completed her look with a pair of stylish retro-inspired sunglasses, while wearing her honey blonde locks tumbling in loose waves around her shoulders and opting for minimal make-up to showcase her stunning natural features.
On Tuesday, a glimpse of Rosie's appearance in the upcoming Marks and Spencer Christmas advert was unleashed onto social media channels, with the striking model seen showing off her impeccable figure in a self-designed red silk underwear set.

And while she is now one of the world's most successful catwalk queens, the blonde beauty has previously admitted that she was teased for her looks when she was growing up.
She said: 'I was teased about the way I looked at school. I got teased because of my lips. I used to get called t**t lips – because I had big lips but no breasts. And then I was called Kipper Lips.
'There was a big group of girls that was Devon’s answer to Mean Girls, and they would storm the bathrooms shouting, "I’m going to f****ing deck you, Lips! See you on the school bus". And boys didn’t really go out with me.'

Although Rosie is known for her impeccable style, she has explained she only got into the fashion industry because she was keen to get out of Devon.
She explained: 'I wanted to get out of Devon so desperately.
London for me was where the big lights were. I was never particularly fashionable. Devon didn't allow for those opportunities.'
