She got
married and became a mother during her self-imposed hiatus from the
music industry but Lily Allen has made it clear that she isn't taming
her behaviour on her return to the spotlight.
The
29-year-old singer shared an Instagram video on Tuesday showing her
topless and dancing along to Drake's Started From The Bottom.
However,
there is nothing sexy about the video as Lily is wearing a huge pair of
Spanx which cover her from just under her breasts to her knees.
Cool mum! Lily Allen posted this Instagram video of herself dancing topless and wearing Spanx and joked she is a 'Cool mum'
She covers her cleavage with one arm while filming herself on a cameraphone as she sings and dances along to the music.
Poking fun at herself, Lily wrote: 'Cool mum #drakespanxdance'.
The
singer pulled her hair back into a high ponytail which was black at the
roots and blonde at the ends as she danced around her dressing room.
Work it: Lily shimmied around to Drake's Started From The Bottom in her dressing room wearing nothing but a huge pair of Spanx
She
also posted another Instagram of herself dancing, but this time in a
sparkling dress as she moved her body to Beyonce's Yonce/Partition.
Meanwhile,
Lily’s new album Sheezus has been faring well in the UK top 40, where
it claimed the number one spot during its first week of release.
The singer also spoke about the inspiration for the record, which was released on May 6.
Not exactly sexy: Lily may be topless in the
video but her huge bodyshaping underwear ensure it is not a sexy look
and the singer clearly knows it
She
told Cosmopolitan of her tribute to Kanye West and his album Yeezus,
saying: 'What makes him Yeezus to me is that he is always open, honest,
true to his word, and doesn't give a hmm-mmm what anybody thinks. If
that makes him Yeezus, then I sure as hell will be Sheezus.'
But she added that one of the biggest lessons she’s learned from fame is 'not believing her own hype.'
She added: 'I'm a nice person. For every stupid and controversial thing that gets printed, there’s a good intention behind it.'
