Zachary Quinto holds onto rumoured boyfriend Miles McMillan as they step out for lunch in coordinated outfits

They are rumoured to have begun dating last summer.

And on Monday Zachary Quinto made a rare display of affection towards 24-year-old model Miles McMillan as they stepped out for lunch in New York.

The 36-year-old actor was pictured holding onto his rumoured boyfriend's arm as they strolled through Soho with friends ahead of their meal.

The Star Trek star and his companion opted for a similar casual ensemble as they both wore blacks jumpers and jeans teamed with black trainers.

Zachary wore a backward baseball cap as he shielded his eye with black shades.

Miles left her brown locks loose and wore aviator shades as he strolled alongside the actor.

Earlier this year, Zachary proudly watched on has rumoured boyfriend Miles McMillan walked the Richard Chai runway on Thursday.

One of the first show's of New York's famed Fashion Week, it drew a celebrity crowd and the Star Trek star could not help but point out the 23-year-old model to his fellow audience member Joe Jonas.

Zachary and Miles have yet to confirm their relationship but were first photographed together in July 2013 while the Emmy nominee taught a master acting class at the Galway Film Festival in Ireland.

That same exact month he had split with previous boyfriend of eight months, Jonathan Groff.

Miles grew up in La Jolla, California but is now based in New York were he has starred in fashion campaigns for H&M and walked the runways for designers Kenneth Cole, Anna Sui, Tommy Hilfiger, Alexander McQueen and Dior Homme.

The 23-year-old used to be a painter and sculptor before he was scouted on the street while a teenaged NYU student.

Zachary has been busy filming Agent 47 with Rupert Friend. The film is described as a 're-imagining of Square Enix video-game Hitman-series about the bald assassin named 47.'
