Amy tweeted a before and after picture of herself earlier this week, admitting to fans that she does still have another stone to shed.
Essex girl Amy narrowly missed out to Christopher Maloney in the public vote last year to make it into the final 13 as the wildcard entry.
However, the live audience at London's Wembley Arena were more than happy to see the familiar face once again, giving her a warm welcome as she took to the stage to perform power ballad I Know Where I've Been by Queen Latifah.
Amy told the crowd: 'I have been waiting a year to try again and the song tells my story.'
The 17-year-old singer received four yeses from judges Nicole Scherzinger, Gary Barlow, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh and was put through to Boot Camp.
But Amy fell at the final hurdle when judge Tulisa Contostavlos instead decided to put Ella Henderson, Jade Ellis and Lucy Spraggan through to the live shows.
During her time on the show, Amy was supported by TOWIE stars including Amy Childs, who backed her to go through to the live finals.
She has also remained close friends with former contestants Lucy and Ella.
