I'm ready for my close up now! Honey Boo Boo's Mama June arrives for TV appearance with no make-up... then emerges with lashings of lipstick and eyeliner

She's a low-maintenance mom by any measure, but June 'Mama' Shannon enjoyed a taste of the glamorous life while promoting her reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo on Monday.
The 33-year-old mother of seven-year-old Alana Thompson - a.k.a. Honey Boo Boo - got the full hair and make-up treatment before giving an interview to Good Morning America from Times Square in New York City.
The reality star had on heavy foundation, dark eyeliner and pink lipstick for her on-set visit.

June dressed comfortably in a draping turquoise blue short-sleeved blouse, loose-fitting black pants and a pair of white sneakers.

She arrived sans make-up and with her blonde hair down, but spent some time in the stylist's chair and had her facial cosmetics applied and hair pulled back for her interview.
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo returns to TLC on Wednesday and June said fans of the show will see the self-proclaimed redneck family visit the White House, race around in go karts and attend a pro wrestling match.

'Alana actually picked the White House grass, and between a rock and a flower she said, ''I got Obama's stuff now,'" Mama June said on the show.
'I went in sixth grade, so I wanted my kids to experience it,' she added.
Honey Boo Boo didn't make the trip to New York City and was at the family's rural home in McIntyre, Georgia.

June also confirmed that she has a huge celebrity crush on Extra entertainment news host Mario Lopez.
The Good Morning America crew surprised June with a taped message from Mario in which he offered congratulations on her recent wedding and said he was 'extremely flattered' to be her celebrity crush.
