Mollie King and Gemma Arterton embrace similar metallic theme as they turn heads at special screening of new Gucci documentary The Director

Gucci collaborator Frida Giannini was the toast of the Curzon Mayfair on Tuesday evening as the West London cinema played host to a documentary celebrating the legendary Italian designer’s life and work.
But outside on a chilly night in the capital it was gold that dominated –and plenty of it – as Gemma Arterton and Mollie King led the way prior to a special screening of forthcoming film The Director: An Evolution In Three Acts.

With their generous cut the flared bottoms wildly flapped about her ankles, while their silky material ensured they shimmered beneath the overhead lights.
The singer – who recently launched her own Spring/Summer 2014 range through high street fashion chain Oasis – matched her trousers with a semi-sheer top through which the outline of her lingerie was evident.
Mollie continued a memorable gold theme with strappy gold heels and distinctive handbag – but she wasn’t alone in opting for the bold colour choice ahead of Tuesday’s screening.
