Coleen Rooney displays her penchant for pink in a bright fuchsia two-piece at the Grand National

She usually favours a muted colour palette and tends to opt for safe and steady black on the red carpet.
But Coleen Rooney mixed up her style as she headed to Aintree Racecourse to celebrate both her 28th birthday and the first day of the 2014 Grand National on Thursday morning.
Putting on a rather vibrant display, the WAG was dressed head-to-toe in bright fuchsia as she left her parents' home to head to the annual race meeting.

Sporting a skintight pencil skirt and a matching crop top, the mother-of-two displayed her penchant for pink in her loud and proud ensemble.

Ensuring no detail went unnoticed for her glam day out, Coleen teamed her bright outfit with towering patent stiletto heels and a clutch bag - both in a matching shade of fuchsia, naturally.
The Manchester United WAG made sure she was preened and pampered to perfection for her day at the races, wearing her dark brunette locks coiffed into a voluminous beehive and tumbling to the side in a dramatic cascade of curls.
