He has already changed a lot since his time on The X Factor.
But
on Monday evening James Arthur unveiled yet another stage of his
transformation as he attended the X-Men: Days Of The Future Past
premiere in Leicester Square.
The
26-year-old looked slimmer than ever, while his hair was styled across
his face for a change – making him almost unrecognisable as he made his
red carpet debut with new girlfriend Jessica Grist, a dancer from The X
Factor.
Different: James Arthur looked like a changed man at the X-Men premiere in London on Monday
James, who won the ninth series of the Simon Cowell talent contest back in 2012, looked like he could be a member of a boy band.
He
wore a pair of black jeans with a low cut T-shirt and overcoat – as well
as a pair of boots similar to ones favoured by Harry Styles.
While
the Middlesbrough-born star was wrapped up, his date for the evening
looked a little on the chilly side as she suffered a red carpet blunder
by suffering an unfortunate nip-slip in her rather revealing dress.
New lady: James was joined for the occasion by a mystery blonde
Oops-a-daisy! While there's no denying Jessica
cut a glamorous figure on the red carpet, she suffered an unfortunate
red carpet blunder by revealing a little too much skin
Evolution: James looked very different when he won the X Factor back in 2012
On the straight and narrow: James has now fixed his teeth after wearing braces (R)
Jessica wore a short and very low-cut black dress, which resulted in her cosying up to James to keep warm.
Since his time on the show James has been linked to numerous women including Rita Ora, Kimberley Garner and Caroline Flack.
A
source recently told The Sun of his new romance: 'James and Jessica are
only very casual at the moment, they have just been for a couple of
dates. It’s nothing serious at this stage. She’s gorgeous though.
'He
does incredibly well with the ladies. He has a great sense of humour
and they all like that - it’s a refreshing change. No one seems to be
able to lock him down for more than a month, though.'
The singer first debuted his brace-free teeth back in March during an appearance on ITV’s This Morning.
Chilly: Arthur's date looked a little on the cold side as they posed on the blue carpet
Arthur
had the braces fitted in October and complained that he hated them as
they caused him to talk with a lisp but strangely improved his singing.
He said at the time: 'If anything they have made my singing better, because I’m more focused on my diction.
'But
they definitely are uncomfortable and I can’t wait to get them off and
have a bit of work done, and then have teeth that I’m happy with. They
have also, on occasion affected kissing girls. Sometimes you can get
cuts.
