Jeremy Clarkson's wife Frances indulges in retail therapy amid reports she's divorcing him

She is reportedly in the midst of divorcing her husband of 21 years Jeremy Clarkson.

But on Thursday marriage woes seemed to be the last thing on Frances’ mind as she hit the shops in West London for a spot of retail therapy.

And judging by the haul of bags she had on her it was a successful trip – perhaps picking up some garbs for a new wardrobe to mark the start of her single life.

The 52-year-old, who had a healthy glow following a recent trip to Majorca, was dressed down for her shopping trip in a simple jeans and T-shirt – glamorised with a Vivienne Westwood handbag.

According to recent reports Frances and her TV presenter husband – who has been the centre of a number of work related scandals recently – have been leaving apart for three years.

However despite trying to stay together, last month Frances headed to Majorca with her best friend to ‘toast’ the end of her marriage.

'Apparently Francie had a really jolly boozy time because she is finally getting a divorce from Jeremy and she was celebrating that,' a source revealed.

'All her friends have been waiting for years for her to do it and she finally has.'

A source close to Clarkson denied the 54-year-old had divorced and stressed that he remained married to his wife for now. But when asked if he was 'getting divorced', the source replied: 'Getting [divorced] and divorced are different.'

If the couple do finalise their split, Frances would be in line for a large pay out because she also works as his manager and has been instrumental in building his career – and his £30million fortune.
