Kourtney Kardashian steps out in a quirky jumpsuit as she giggles her way through a date night

Her family have faced their fair share of drama in recent weeks but on Thursday Kourtney Kardashian forgot her worries as she enjoyed a relaxed date night with Scott Disick.

The 34-year-old dressed up for her sushi dinner, in a quirky jumpsuit, as the couple were joined by some old friends for a double date.

Kourtney and Scott showed their support for Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis, who was sentenced to 270 days in jail last month after being found guilty of assault and false imprisonment.

Kourtney and her 30-year-old beau met up with Joe and his girlfriend Abbey Wilson for a relaxed dinner in Calabasas, California.

Whilst the rest of the group dressed down for their night out, fashionista Kourtney pulled on a chic jumpsuit. The striped number featured a motif of weight-lifters and strong-men set off with a cute peter pan collar.

The diminutive star added some height with some coordinating pointed heels and a large bag in a nude hue.

With her brunette locks tied up into a high ponytail, Kourtney applied a slick of red lipstick to finish off her glam look.

Whilst Kourtney’s boyfriend Scott is not usually one to shy away from a quirky outfit, he decided to leave his dapper suits at home for the casual dinner opting for distressed grey jeans and some scruffy trainers.

The couple’s dinner companions followed Scott’s dressed-down lead with Joe in a grey tee and jeans and his blonde girlfriend in a loose white shirt and flip flops.

Kourtney’s family have been friends with 40-year-old Joe for years.

The Girls Gone Wild mogul played matchmaker for Kourtney and Scott, revealing that the couple met at his Mexico mansion during a party in 2006.

Joe’s recent legal problems obviously hasn’t tarnished their friendship with Thursday’s dinner coming just weeks after Francis was handed a jail team after being found guilty of three counts of false imprisonment, one count of assault and one count of dissuading a witness, charges which he vehemently denies.

The mogul was sentenced to 270 days in county jail, along with anger management and counselling sessions last month, following an incident at his home in 2011.

Superior Court Judge James R. Dabney levied $250,000 bail, allowing Francis to remain out of jail as his case goes through the appeal process.

He had faced up to five years in jail for assaulting a young woman, who he attacked while holding her and two others prisoner at his Bel Air mansion following a night out in Hollywood in 2011.

It looks like the group were keen to forget their troubles on their double date though as they were spotted laughing away as they left the eatery and sharing big hugs as they headed home.

Kourtney has been caught up in her own worries recently as she supports her younger sister Khloe through allegations that her husband Lamar Odom has been unfaithful throughout their marriage, and is battling a drugs problem.
