Unlike
many children of celebrities, Paul Walker's daughter Meadow has kept
quiet, choosing to not bring any attention to herself.
Until
now. On Sunday the 15-year-old opened her official Facebook, Twitter
and Instagram accounts. Her father's team, however, argued the accounts
were opened to 'combat the imposter profiles that are constantly
created.'
While
establishing her online presence, the only child of the late actor (who
died in a fiery car crash in November) also shared a tender but
heartbreaking black-and-white photo with her father.
Tender moment: Meadow Walker shared this sweet
photo with her late father Paul Walker after opening up official
Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts
Paul's social media team made the announcement on The Fast & The Furious star's Facebook page.
'To
combat the imposter profiles that are continually created, we have
launched three official profiles for Paul Walker‘s daughter,' read the
message.
'Any other profiles you may find on social networks are not associated with Meadow or Paul. – Team PW.'
Social media: The late actor's social media team
revealed they set up Meadow's official accounts to ward off all the
fake profiles, pictured here together in June 2013
In the endearing photo on Meadow's
Facebook page, she and Paul are seated next to each other as they stare
into each other's eyes.
They are both wearing jackets as Paul has his arm around his young daughter.
Paul's
co-star Vin Diesel also took to social media to reveal how he got to
know the late actor's family in an emotional new blog post.
Emotional: Vin Diesel posted this picture -
believed to be on the set of Fast & Furious 7 - with brothers of the
late actor Paul Walker, Caleb and Cody
Writing on
his Facebook page, Vin said: 'When I heard the news, I left the
production, grabbed a plane and took my family and Michelle (Rodriguez)
back to LA... drove directly to his parent’s house.'
He
added: 'His Father said, Paul loved you Vin... I awkwardly and
nervously said, aw come on... then he said... you don’t have to get
along every second to love each other... so true.'
Vin posted a picture of himself with Paul's brothers, believed to be on the set of Fast & Furious 7.
Brian O'Connor: Paul's brothers are helping
shoot the final scenes of the late star's character in Fast &
Furious 7, pictured here in a still from Fast & Furious 6
Producers
confirmed earlier this month that Paul's brothers Caleb and Cody Walker
have signed on to shoot the remaining scenes featuring the late star's
character, Brian O'Connor, for the upcoming blockbuster.
The
40-year-old star was on a break from shooting the film when he died in a
car crash in November and filming was put on hold until recently.
Walker's
mother Cheryl recently dropped her bid to gain custody of Meadow after
the 15-year-old's mother, Rebecca Soteros, 'agreed to go to rehab' for a
'serious drinking problem.'
Meadow is set to inherit the late actor's entire fortune, which estimates place at around $16 million.
