French Open poster boy Andy Murray as Kim Sears, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic join British No 1 in 'Les Muzzerables'

If Andy Murray decides to go into acting once he hangs up his racket at least he'll look good on a movie billboard poster.
The British No 1, known for having a dry sense of humour, has been mocked up as the star of 'Les Muzzerables' in the latest piece of work by artist Nial Smith. Murray's girlfriend Kim Sears also makes an appearance.
As well as being the main man in Smith's tribute to the Victor Hugo classic and West End smash Les Misearbles, Murray has also been given the statue treatment for another poster, along with Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Jo Wilfried-Tsonga.

The latest efforts are for the French Open, which started at Roland Garros on Sunday, but Murray and his rivals have previously been morphed into movie stars. Other works by Smith have included takes on the likes of Gladiator, Captain America and Trainspotting.
Meanwhile, Murray heads into his first Grand Slam in two-and-a-half years without Ivan Lendl in his corner — but his former Czech mentor will still cast a considerable shadow.
The Wimbledon champion, whose French Open first-round match against Kazakhstan’s Andrey Golubev will take place on Tuesday, has revealed he is seeking Lendl’s advice about how to approach the clay-court Grand Slam.

Murray has stuttered this season, but was buoyed by his performance in Rome a week last Friday, when he almost beat the king of clay himself, Nadal, in the quarter-final.
Lendl’s decision to walk out on him in March blindsided the 27-year-old Scot, but it was done on amicable enough terms for the two of them to stay in contact.
‘I’ve messaged him a little bit and he actually called me the day after my match with Rafa in Rome,’ said Murray.
‘He spoke to Dani [Vallverdu, Murray’s assistant coach] and then fired some messages my way. I might call him just to have a little chat.’

Andy Powell is back with wife Natasha Gascoine... even after shetried to sell his clothes on eBay

Andy Powell is back with the wife who spray painted 'cheat' across his car and house as she reveals she is carrying his baby and says 'we still love each other'.
Natasha Gascoine branded the Wales and former British Lions player a 'liar, cheat and a scumbag' when their marriage failed after just nine months amid allegations he had cheated on her; Powell was labelled 'scrumbag' by tabloid newspapers earlier this year.
She also posted screengrabs of his sexually explicit texts to her on Twitter, and put the 32-year-old's rugby gear for sale on eBay, along with her wedding dress.

Reconciliation: But Gascoine has taken back Powell and the couple are expecting a baby

However, Gascoine, 25, has confirmed that after three miscarriages she is pregnant again - and Powell is the father.

The pair started divorce proceedings in March and Gascoine told friends they were ending their brief marriage amicably.
But it became very amicable - the pair kissed and made up and told their family and friends they still have a future together.
'Andy was ringing me and texting me and I ignored it but a a few weeks after we thought: "We'll put everything behind us and move forward",' she said.
'He said he didn't want us to get divorced. We still love each other, there is no doubt about that.
'It took me a while to accept because I was still really angry.
'He said he would do various things to make it up to me and we'd get back on track and see each other here and there and now I'm pregnant again.'
The couple marked their first wedding anniversary at the Celtic Manor golf resort in Newport where the held their reception a year ago.
'We have spent most of the year living apart so it hasn't been much of a marriage,' she said.
'But we are both determined to give it another go - we have to forget about some of the things we did and said to each other and move on.'
After returning from a holiday to Dubai with a female friend, Gascoine announced she is pregnant for the fourth time in just over a year.
She tweeted at the weekend: 'Coming back from Dubai & I have found out I'm pregnant for the fourth time in almost a year,' she wrote, posting a photograph of her positive pregnancy test.'
Just two months ago the pair were in the middle of a very public break-up over Powell's alleged infidelity, drinking and gambling.
Gascoine was 17 weeks pregnant at the time and left devastated when she lost the baby at the beginning of April, even though she and Powell had split.
The pair had argued very publicly via Twitter, and the row included 6ft 4in Powell bizarrely posting a naked picture of himself.

She then sprayed the words 'scumbag' and cheat over his house and pink Mercedes, and even went onto eBay to sell her £10,000 engagement ring, wedding ring, jewellery, dress and the gifts the pair received on the big day.
She wrote on the auction website: 'The sentimental value has gone and to be honest since being married to him I have realised how fake he really is. And what a great let down he has been.'
Office worker Gascoine gave the proceeds of her clear out to Women's Aid and Samaritans - charities she describes as 'close to her heart.
She said at the time: 'I don't think Andy Powell knows who he really is, he's built a character to fool everyone who knows him and I fell for it.
'I wouldn't want anyone else going through what I have been through, I've been holding up my wedding dress, thinking of the future we had planned - destroyed.'
During their public break up the pair argued on Twitter, with Powell posting this naked photograph

Back row forward Powell responded by saying he hated her and 'could never forgive her'.
Powell played for the Cardiff Blues, Wasps and Sale Sharks during his union career, before crossing codes to play rugby league for the Wigan Warriors.
But his move ended after just five games for Wigan when he picked up a neck injury, and he was released by the club in January.
He won 23 caps for Wales, and toured South Africa with the British and Irish Lions in 2009.
But he was also known for his off-field problems. In 2011 was suspended after getting embroiled in a bar brawl with football fans.
In 2010 he was banned from driving for 15 months and fined £1,000 for driving the stolen cart along the hard shoulder of the M4 to 'get some munchies' from a service station at 5.30 in the morning.
Powell moved back in with his parents in his hometown of Brecon, Powys, after the break-up and Gascoine revealed they are still not living together.
She is staying with her parents at their country home in Monmouthshire while Powell gets his life back on track.
'He is still drinking but he has given up gambling which is an improvement,' she said.
'But he chose to go on a golfing holiday with his mates rather than come to Dubai with me.
'He's able to go on trips while I'm at home stressing and worried and feeling really anxious. I'm just hanging onto his word all the time.
'Unless he was to get his career back on track, or some kind of job, I think he's always going to be distracted. He knows a lot of people, he likes to socialise.'

Powell and Gascoine are due to have the first scan of their baby later this week.
She said: 'We are both excited but I am very worried. I have lost the previous three, I don't want it to happen again.'
Gascoine admitted she still has 'trust issues' with Powell but insists he has never been attracted to rugby groupies throwing themselves at him.
'I have heard from a few good friends that he's had women sitting on his lap and he's been pushing them away,' she said.
'He'll even leave a club, because he's never liked women pestering him.
'If he was to react back on that and I found out about that then obviously I would be concerned.'
Powell was unavailable to comment on getting back with his wife.

Hospitals where one in three patients have got diabetes: Bill for NHS expected to soar to £17bn

More than one in three patients in some NHS hospitals suffer from diabetes, figures show.
The condition is putting an increasing strain on the health service, costing an estimated £10billion a year, yet many staff do not know how to treat it.
The most common form of diabetes, type 2, is strongly linked to lifestyle factors such as obesity, lack of exercise and poor diet.
According to NHS figures, Bishop Auckland Hospital, County Durham, has 35 per cent of patients who are diabetic - the highest rate in the country. The condition is putting an increasing strain on the health service and is expected to cost the NHS £17bn in 20 years
Bishop Auckland Hospital, County Durham, has 35 per cent of patients who are diabetic - the highest rate in the country. The condition is expected to cost the NHS £17bn in 20 years

Earlier this month the Mail revealed that one hospital bed in seven was occupied by a patient with diabetes.
Now a snapshot NHS survey shows the highest rate was at Bishop Auckland Hospital, County Durham, where 35 per cent of patients are diabetic.
At Hammersmith Hospital in West London it was 28 per cent, followed by 25 per cent at West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven, Cumbria.
Experts say there is a link between diabetes rates and obesity levels in an area. Of those in hospital with diabetes, 93 per cent have type 2. However, many with the condition are not obese and it is common in the elderly.
Other hospitals badly affected are Leicester, Birmingham and Newham, East London, which all recorded rates of 24 per cent.
Diabetes accounts for around 10 per cent of the NHS budget, with most spent on complications such as amputations and stroke.
Hammersmith Hospital, West London, where 28 per cent of patients have diabetes, had the second highest rate, according to the survey. Experts say there is a link between diabetes rates and obesity levels

As the number of those suffering from the condition increases, costs to the NHS are expected to soar to £17billion in the next 20 years.
Last week the former head of the NHS admitted he had been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes after living on fry-ups for breakfast, triple-decker sandwiches and eight pints of beer every Friday night.
Sir David Nicholson, who retired last month on a £2million pension, said he had lost control of his health, and the condition was ‘absolutely, completely my fault’.

Around 3.6million Britons have diabetes – of whom 90 per cent have type 2 – but this is expected to rise to 5million in ten years.
There are between 200,000 and 250,000 new cases of diabetes every year, but this is offset by the deaths of up to 140,000 patients, meaning that the population with the condition grows by an annual 100,000 to 150,000.

Around 3.6million Britons have diabetes - of whom 90 per cent have type 2 - but this is expected to rise to 5million in ten years
Campaigners warn that hospital patients with diabetes are particularly vulnerable as some NHS staff do not know how to look after them properly.
Simon O’Neill, of Diabetes UK, said: ‘This is becoming a big problem in virtually every hospital and it seems to be getting worse.
‘The biggest growth is in type 2 and we know that’s linked to a growing elderly population and a growing overweight and obese population.’
He added: ‘People with diabetes tend to end up staying two to three days longer than average because they take slightly longer to heal and recover. The level of knowledge about diabetes among general hospital staff isn’t that great.
‘Often, the hospital mucks up their diabetes control and they’re not well enough to leave until the diabetes has been stabilised.
There is a large number of medication errors in hospital, giving them insulin without food, causing them to have low blood sugar.
‘We’re also aware of people being allowed to develop foot ulcers in hospital just by not turning them and making sure they’re not spending all day in bed.’
The latest figures for hospital patients are compiled by the Health and Social Care Information Centre, which carries out a diabetes audit every year.
They are a snapshot of the number of patients with diabetes on a given night, so vary slightly from year to year, although overall trends remain the same.
Last year the highest rates were recorded at Birmingham City Hospital, where 31 per cent of patients were diabetic.
NHS figures also show 40 per cent of diabetes patients fall victim to some kind of ‘medication error’.

Inside Kim and Kanye's European nuptials - and the other celebrities who opted for a 'destination wedding'

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have tied the knot at the 16th-century Belvedere Fort in Florence, but it seems they aren't being completely original with their wedding plans.
They're following in the footsteps of Europhile celebrities who have opted to tie the knot in France and Italy.

Here, MailOnline Travel looks at a few of the other celebrity 'destination weddings' in European hotspots...

Eva Longoria and Tony Parker

It was a fairytale of the actress and the basketball player when Longoria and Parker wed in Italy in 2007. The pair chose to tie the knot at a Paris church that was once frequented by royalty.

It was stage two of a weekend extravaganza — all hidden from view, even by black umbrellas at the church. Stage one was a civil ceremony conducted by then-Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoe. Then came the celebrations at the Baroque 17th-century Vaux-le-Vicomte chateau near Paris, where guests swept across its marble-floored ballroom.
Sadly, despite the getting married in the capital of romance, the NBA star and Desperate Housewife divorced in 2011.

Liz Hurley and Arun Nayar

Actress and model Liz Hurley married businessman Arun Nayar in an extravagant party that began in Britain and moved through several cities in India over six days back in 2007.

The blessing and party took place at Sudeley Castle, a 15th Century stately home in the Cotswold Hills, drawing the likes of Elton John - who arrived by helicopter - Kate Moss and actor Hugh Grant, Hurley's ex.
From there the wedding moved to Mumbai for celebrations that ended at the Maharaja of Jodphur's palace for a traditional Hindu ceremony, some 60 guests in tow. Secrecy was so tight that guests' cellphones were banned, the Hindustan Times newspaper reported. Unfortunately, the couple divorced in 2011.

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise arrived for his 2006 wedding at a 15th-century Italian castle accompanied by flag bearers in medieval costumes as he walked down a stone ramp, drums rolling.
Bride Katie Holmes wore Armani and the designer was among the guests in Bracciano outside Rome, along with Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez, Jim Carrey and Victoria Beckham. Italian singer Andrea Bocelli serenaded the couple, and fireworks lit the sky.

The celebrations were held at the Castello Odescalchi di Bracciano, the 15th Century home of feudal lords, set on the south on the Bracciano lake.
Despite the lavish accoutrements, the couple exchanged vows in a former stable decorated with white flowers in a Scientology ceremony. Then came their 'never-ending kiss' - so long that guests shouted for them to stop, Giorgio Armani recounted later. The couple divorced in 2012.

Vanisha Mittal and Amit Bhatia

Bollywood stars were flown in from India along with chefs for the most opulent, secretive wedding blowout that France has seen in a long time. The Indian steel mogul Lakshmi Mittal paid £44.5million to celebrate the 2004 marriage of his daughter Vanisha to investment banker Amit Bhatia, according to Paris-Match magazine.
