Miu Miu 10NS
SHOP THE POST:
Some people like bags, some people like shoes. I like sunglasses. One day I'll stop harping on about sunglasses and until then you will just have to put up with me blogging about them on a bi-weekly basis. A couple of months ago when I was in Selfridges with Zoe I ended up picking up the final pair of Miu Miu 10NS that the Miu Mui concession had in stock. It was like fate or something!
They are comfortable to wear, go with pretty much everything and are always compliment prompters whenever I wear them which is always a added bonus. Cat Eye sunglasses are my jam as they just suit my face shape and compliment my overall look really well. It’s worth pointing out they are super durable too, I sometimes forget to put them in my case and just chuck them in my bag and so far they haven’t scratched or dented at all! (Touch wood!)

Forget the card, it's all about the loyalty app
Harvey Nichols, thank you! Thank you for doing away with the pesky loyalty card once and for all. If I could tell you the number of random, never used cards that are littering my utensils drawer in the kitchen. Yes, the utensils drawer. Sadly, they never see the light of day or get used, but I continue to sign up for them all. And finally a department store is changing all that and giving us a rewards card to use on our phones- the one thing we never leave the house without.
This week Harvey Nichols launched the rewards app, and, frankly speaking, they are leading the pack in innovative new ways to reward us as the customer. This app is all about giving us all exclusive privileges in store, rather than the usual cash back experience. From the minute you sign up, having not spent a dime in store as of yet, you are given silver status. This allows you privileges like free gift wrapping, stylist services in store, complimentary samples and sale previews.
When you do start spending money with Harvey Nichols, and using the app along the way, the real perks start to play out. 625 points unlocks a £25 gift voucher, 75 points get you a free smoothie, 330 points will hook you up with a manicure in store. And that's just the start.
In the honour of full disclosure, I may or may not have gotten a little too excited about the whole idea of this app and purchased this Gucci bag. Whoops! I'll take a strawberry smoothie while enjoying a jet black manicure, please.
In true Harvey Nichols style, they have put together a perfect tongue-in-cheek video to celebrate the launch. This is just hilarious...and shows that truly the only way to get away with anything for free at Harvey Nichols is through the new app.
