Ten things you never knew about eleven

Which song is featured in the Apple Watch Style ad featuring Chloe Sevigny?
Apple have released a new style ad for the Apple watch, starring actress Chloe Sevingy. Now, the ad itself speaks volumes for the way in which the watch can be switched in and out of bands to accommodate one's personal style. Yes, it's a great ad. But, as always with Apple ads, the world seems to be as obsessed with the music used in the ad as much as the product itself. In the past week I have received dozens of emails from readers asking me if I knew what music was used in the Apple watch style ad featuring Chloe Sevigny. Well, ladies and gents, seeing as you think I'm a music, tech and fashion expert all rolled into one, I couldn't help but deliver. The music featured in the Apple watch style ad is from none other than Kiiara, who, according to Jezebel, is a 20 year old who has a day job in a hardware store in Illinois. How's that for a start to your music career? Apple choosing to feature your debut single in an ad that is spread far and wide. Welcome to stardom, Kiiari. You are solid "Gold" - (incidentally, the name of the debut track used in the Apple Watch ad).
Here's the ad, recapped for you:

Style Update: A bag made just for me?! Oh Aspinal, you shouldn't have!
That's my "cat that got the cream" face you are witnessing above. Or perhaps it's my "pleased as punch" face or "pinch me now" moment interpreted through the muscles in my mouth. Who knows? What should someone's face be when a package arrives with a beautiful bag inside - a bag that is designed especially for me? Yes, I've had the ultimate in spoiling from the beautiful leather goods company, Aspinal of London.
This summer, Aspinal asked me to come into store and meet with their creative director to take a turn at customising my very own Aspinal tote for the season of autumn winter. After I managed to stop my ridiculously giddy dance around the flat, at being asked, I marched into store ready to go, having no idea what to expect. What ensued was a lovely afternoon of looking at swatches of leather and silk linings, all while sipping champagne. Now, dear reader, it may be appropriate to say, at this point, that this service is not limited to those of us that work in fashion (although I have it on good authority that most of the top editors in London have their very own Aspinal creation sitting in their closets or swinging from their arms at this moment - I got to have a sneaky look at what others had put together). After making sure this was a service I could pass onto you guys, I carried on with my creation.
The long and short of it is this. I wanted to do something elaborate and creative. But, I fell so in love with one of the Autumn Winter bags getting ready for distribution that I asked for a replica, with a twist. My twist? I have orange sherbet silk lining in the bag! Also, my initials grace the front- and there are a few other twists and turns I'll share at a later date. For now, I'll say it's my new addiction, travel buddy and best looking leather friend. Too much? Nope, not enough. I'm in love.

Now... for the rest of this style update. Let's start with the scarf. This is a Zara number that I thought looked just like one of my favorite wall hangings at the moment. Ok, that sounds strange, but I'm wildly in love and completely cozy. The bag- well, I think you've been properly introduced. The hat is a find and the coat is Marks & Spencer. The boots are Next and the jeans are American Eagle. Oh, and oh... the sweater is lush Joseph! Happy Shopping!

Urban Decay Vice 4 Palette
Another year and another Vice Palette holiday offering from Urban Decay. While the Naked Palettes seem to be the queen of eyeshadow palettes in the beauty world the Vice Palettes offer a great all rounder of complimentary shades and colours and some unique finishes so you have all the options you can think of.
Twenty new and limited edition shades housed in a sleek black palette with a sort of shattered glass effect on the front. Eleven shades have micro glitter so if you’re not into sparkly shades this one might be worth skipping. While a little louder than the Naked Palette is has a much larger variety of shades and is a better all rounder option if you like to switch up your makeup style and play with different looks and colours. Quality is in line with other Urban Decay shadows I’ve tried although I found Grip, Low and Delete a little harder to work with compared to others. But on the whole the shades are deep, richly pigmented and blend out well. Theres some nice jewel tones, easy to wear neutrals and a few pops of colour if you’re that way inlined. I reckon there some awesome options for smokey eye combos too!
My favourite shades from the palette have to be Bitter, Flame, Bones and Pandemonium. Bitter is a beautiful burnt matte orange shade which is right up my street for everyday. I also adore how large the mirror is within the palette, it's absolutely huge which is ideal for putting your makeup on while travelling! The double ended brush is similar to those that came with the Naked Palettes (which I personally really like and do use) so on the whole it's a pretty awesome palette.
If you have any of the previous incarnations of the Vice Palette it might be worth checking back and looking for overlap as shade wise it’s very similar to previous editions. None the less it’s available now for £43 from Debenhams, John Lewis & Selfridges.
