Style Update: The perfect skinny jeans?
The search for the perfect pair of jeans is like every women's search for the holy grail. I reckon, over the years, I've wriggled my thighs and bum into over a thousand pairs in an effort to find my ideal match. I've struck gold about a dozen times. Those aren't good odds, ladies. That's about a one percent success rate. So I think you'll understand why, when I find a great pair of denim, I like to share the good news round the world so that I may bring that percentage of success up a few pegs around the globe.
Enter Boden's new skinny jeans. My pair arrived last week. Fresh from the polka dot plastic package, I pulled what I am now officially referring to as the "go to jean." You see these bad boys are jeans that truly can be worn for anything, from a formal occasion with high heels and a tuxedo jacket, to casual daywear with a great coat and a colour pop bag. Yeah, totally describing the look you see here. The jeans are my perfect length (they come in long) and stretch to high heaven. Why anyone wears denim without stretch I'll never understand.
In a nutshell, these are worth a wriggle. Order up your perfect size and length and add to the collection of reliable classics!
(FYI, I'm wearing all Boden and the story goes a little something like this: Jeans, striped shirt, coat, heels and bag.... shop til you drop, ladies!)

You won't believe where these shoes are from... (and that they're only £65)
Whenever I'm out and about on Oxford or Regent Street, I consider myself in an "office" of sorts. I'm always looking around to see what can be featured or shouted about. I like to think of myself as constantly on the job, keeping an eye out for great finds around the city. It's an occupational hazard, really.
Today, however, I quite literally tripped on the pavement and steadied myself in front of a store window I would have not otherwise thought to gaze upon should I just have been walking by. I was standing in front of Clarks, and my hand rested a little too long on the window as I starred down the most glorious heels and flats that reminded me of something one might find at a Manolo Blahnik counter. Only I can guarantee you that no Manolos are going to be as feel good as these bad boys. They're called that Chinaberry Fun block heel and they are £65. Need I say more? Go forth and purchase. Your feet can thank me later. Clarks... gotta say, you guys are really stepping it up... in comfort and style!
