What A Difference A Day Made

Every new day is an opportunity to start over again.

2016 has been kind to me so far, small and big changes that I’ve lived to embrace. I think the biggest lesson has been that you are never fully ready for the things that come at you, this is exactly when life tends to thrown you the ball. Maybe to keep your senses alert or because a rehearsed catch is never as fully lived as the spontaneous one. I believe a large part good happenings is us getting rewarded for the risks and sacrifices we make, I’ve seen a lot of them lately, on the love front, job front and with my overall inner thoughts.

I am talking about changes that don’t happen over night, from everything to being kinder to myself, to learning what it means to be present in my current life. These are things that we all struggle with, some more than other. As an Influencer, it’s no shocker to tell you that I’ve spent a lot of time in the ‘more’ section, this is why I am thankful of new beginnings. The sun rises every morning, what a difference a day makes, right?

So to honour my new beginnings and my resolutions to become a better listener, I practically jumped on the opportunity to share my story together with Rituals, a brand that is all about celebrating the small pleasures in life. The #LetLifeBlossom campaign welcome’s the brand new look of the iconic Sakura. The range is seeing a sleek packaging makeover that aims all senses. The rice milk based, Cherry blossom infused collection, embodies happiness and abundance, leaving you with a healthy glow…. Not to mention it’s pretty damn Instagram friendly.

London has it magical little ways of telling us when we’ve finally entered the new season, I am of course talking about the Cherry Blossom trees that covers our city. The ultimate Sakura experience is however to be experienced in Japan, where the ‘Hanami Matsuri’, flower viewing tradition gathers people every spring to celebrate nature’s rebirth and the fleeting beauty of the fragile flowers, as a metaphor for life itself. Isn't it amazing what a meaningful role a flower can take? I am not the one to say no to the little, simple pleasures in life. That is the person I aspire to be, someone that live in so much feeling. With my heart on my sleeve and no fear of judgement.

Whilst we all know change starts from the inside, I wanted you to see it as well. So I am staring with the small things like new hair, new skin routine - as seen here soaked in the new favourite body cream. New ideas but overall a promise to take better care of myself, both from the inside and the outside, the physical and the mental.

What I Wore on a Road Trip

I hardly took any snaps this time I was on holiday this time around and Im kicking myself now Im home and having a severe case of the holiday blues. I also have the post holiday sickness (????) and feel like a bag of poop to boot. If you want to see any of the snaps I took last year when we stopped off in Seligman last year then you can see them here.

W/E though, I thought I'd share the outfit deets from my Insta against this cool American flag wall. When I saw it I was like dingdingding I've hit the instajackpot right now (although I didnt hit any jackpots while in Vegas though, sadtimes). I just knew it would be so perfect for a snap or two!

I really recommend stopping off in Seligman if you're on your way to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. It's really cool and fun and well worth stopping off at to take some snaps or grab some lunch. Dont bother driving down Route 66, it takes wayyyy longer and isn't really a complete road anymore or that used anymore. Plus a lot of the lil' towns along the way have a similar kooky (literally the first time I've ever typed that word and Im still laughing at myself now) vibes and all claim to be the birthplace of Route 66.

I wore a simple white playsuit, a necktie, my faux leather jacket (because it was actually p. cold while I was at the GC, it even snowed one day!) and then I wore some brown booties to round off the outfit! Quite comfy but still stylish, albeit a bit on the chill side!

Window Watch: Tiffany & Co. London celebrate the romance of New York

Tiffany Romance Shop Windows
Perhaps this is just me being biased, but I do believe New York City is one of the most iconically romantic cities in the world. Sure, plenty will say that honour belongs to Paris, Venice or perhaps even London. For me, it will always be New York. Give me spring blossoms, picnics in the park and shopping in Bergdorf's and I'm one happy lady. I suppose this is why the windows of Tiffany & Co. on Old Bond Street drew me in like a moth to a flame.

The windows for Spring at Tiffany's this year are all about capturing a New York Romance, and naturally showcasing some beautiful jewels alongside the main theme. After all, nothing says romance like a little blue box, right? Tiffany's windows showcase romance in the most romantic of New York settings, featuring everything from the Brooklyn Bridge to a cozy moment in a movie theatre.

Here's your first look:

Budget Skincare worth Trying

Sanctuary Spa 5 minute Thermal Detox Mask*
Sanctuary Spa Warming Detox Charcoal Wash*

This little twosome have been gracing my chubby baby face as of late and I thought it was about time I got on to giving you lot the low down on these two budget skincare buds.

Sanctuary Spa Warming Detox Charcoal Wash (try saying that quickly out loud 4 times in a row!) is a more suitably priced alternative to the uber pricey Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Cleanser or the Ren Clear Calm 3 Clay Cleanser.

When I first opened it and saw that the cleanser was legit black as the dark nights sky I was taken back in horror. Think the shocked emoji face. That was me.

However it's a gel like formula that goes into a sort of milky cleanse-y type deal once water is added and left my skin feeling squeaky clean, refreshed and deeply cleaned. The warming thing is a bit odd at first but not unpleasant. It's not like hot hot, more like a mild warming. Kinda like a spa experience without the price tag. Word of warning, keep this shizz away from your eyeballs. Dont make the same mistake as I did!

Sanctuary Spa 5 minute Thermal Detox Mask is a hard working lil mask that sucks out skin impurities and reduces oil with ease. Perfect for calming redness and irritation too as it's not drying like some clay masks. It's a good one for a quickie face mask as it only needs 5 mins to do it's ting which is good when you're low on time.

At £9 and £10 they aren't bargain bargains BUT they are pretty budget friendly for awesome skincare that actually works. Theres so much bad skincare out there at lower price points it's definitely worth looking for some diamonds in the rough. Oily and combo skinned gal's this is for you however, neither are particularly stripping so would be good allrounders.

Man U's Ryan Giggs' £2million mansion painted with vile abuses after his wife leaves him for cheating with another lady

Manchester United football legend and current assistant coach Ryan Giggs' 2million Pounds mansion has been covered in graffiti of vile abuses after it was revealed his wife, Stacey, left him because he cheated on her with a PR girl and showered expensive gifts on the girl.

Vandals painted the words 'I hope she was worth it'  along with 'Welsh c***t' on his gate and walls as the Manchester United man gears up for a messy divorce scandal.

Giggs' wife Stacey, 37, walked out on the  millionaire football legend after she lost patience with his womanizing ways and the Police have been called to investigate the wall and gate vandalising incident.
A team has been called to try and scrub away the messages but it is likely to take all day according to the police.

His wife has stayed with him even after he cheated on her with his brother's wife or 8 years and even paid her to abort his child, but she took the last straw after he cheated on her with PR girl, 32-year-old Kate Greville and even showered her with gifts, handbags, flowers and expensive items.

The footballer, 42, also spent £150,000 on a controversial legal battle to hush up his affair with a glamour model.
But it has now emerged that his wife now wants a divorce, and he stands to lose half his £40million fortune.
