'I'm hungry for gourmet meals instead of fast food now...': Sharon Stone, 55, reveals how ageing has changed her sex life

She's one actress who appears to have grown even more beautiful with age.
And now Sharon Stone has revealed just how growing older has changed her views on life... and in particular her sex life.
The 55-year-old actress made the admission as she posed up for a stunning new shoot in the pages of NEW YOU magazine.

Speaking about how her desires have changed as she has aged, Sharon said: 'As women, we understand our bodies, and there’s a blossoming that occurs with sex.
'We’re hungry for gourmet meals instead of the fast food. We bring to life a more expansive understanding of life, ourselves, and others. We are more generous and assertive.'
Sharon also revealed that while many Hollywood actresses fear the ageing process, she has whole-heartedly embraced it.
She said:Realise that when you are “middle aged” you have a chance for a whole second career, another love, another life. You may be sick of what you did the first half of your life, but you don’t just have to walk around and play golf or do nothing. We’re too young for that.

'It’s not like fifty is the new thirty. It’s like fifty is the new chapter. We know so much at this age, and people realize we’re the ones with experience. We’re a very colorful generation that is leading once again.'

She added: 'People are afraid of changing; that they’re losing something. They don’t understand that they are also gaining something.
'I thought I lost the deep vortex on my eyelid that you have when you’re younger, but I gained almost a kind of beautiful abyss. As I lost the fullness in my face, I got in these great cheekbones.'
And now she is in possession of such incredible cheekbones, Sharon said she won't be succuumbing to plastic surgery to smooth out any of her wrinkles.
She said: 'I can’t tell you how many doctors try to sell me a facelift. I’ve even gone as far as having someone talk me into it, but when I went over and looked at pictures of myself, I thought, "What are they going to lift?"
'Yes, I have come close - but, frankly, I think that in the art of aging well there’s this sexuality to having those imperfections. It’s sensual.'
However, Sharon did acknowledge that surgery for some people is the right choice, although added that the rules set prior to going under the knife should be a lot more strict.
She said: 'If you have things that you want to fix, you should go right ahead and fix them. I don’t think there is anything wrong with cosmetic surgery at all. I think it’s great. But I don’t think it’s alright to distort yourself.
'You can’t treat an illness with cosmetic surgery, and that’s why it would be great if there were qualified therapists in plastic surgeons’ offices, and that people would go to a therapeutic meeting before plastic surgery. I think that should be part of the FDA requirement.'
The full interview with Sharon appears in this month's issue of NEW YOU magazine, on sale now.

Wearing all black with large sunglasses, Angelina looked chic and glowed with good health.
Her soon-to-be husband, was equally gleeful, but opted for muted earth tones of khaki, grey and beige for his travelling attire.
Intrigued by the ecstatic welcome to Tokyo from the Japanese fans of his starry parents, Knox grinned at the crowd as he held his father's hand while walking through the airport.

Angelina may well have been the pilot on their flight following the reports that Brad splashed out on a private jet for his love.
According to Heat magazine, the 49-year-old actor bought the aircraft for his fiance, who has held a pilot’s license since 2004, so that the couple could see each other more often, while they film movies on opposite sides of the world.
Brad is in London shooting World War II drama Fury, as Jolie directs her own war flick called Unbroken in Hawaii.

Coleen Rooney shows off her post-baby body in a striped bikini as she and Wayne take time out from transfer turmoil on holiday in Portugal

She only welcomed her second son with footballer husband Wayne Rooney into the world in May.
But Coleen Rooney already appeared to have shed most of her baby weight as she showed off her bikini body on a family holiday to Portugal.
Soaking up the sun alongside her Manchester United ace beau and their two sons, Kai, three, and Klay, two months, the 27-year-old WAG looked great as she showed off her trim figure in a flattering striped two-piece.

With a white sarong tied around her waist, the mother-of-two wore her brunette locks pulled back off her face into a high bun, while sheltering her eyes from the sun with a pair of aviator shades.
Coleen appeared to be in great spirits as she enjoyed some quality time with her family, grinning away while feeding her baby son and chatting to Wayne.
Sipping a cup of beer as she made the most of the Portuguese sunshine, the star lavished attention on Kai, who looked adorable as he kept the sun at bay in a fun blue surf top and matching shorts.

Wayne covered up his pale skin in a white T-shirt, while sensibly avoiding a nasty burn by wearing a baseball cap and shades as he chatted to various members of Coleen's family from his sun lounger.
Coleen and Wayne later appeared to be involved in an intense conversation as they took turns to feed baby Klay, but with intense speculation surrounding the footballer's career of late, they certainly would have had plenty to talk about.
The 27-year-old striker is currently in transfer turmoil as his current team, Manchester United, are said to be refusing to sell him to a Premier League rival, meaning a move to Paris Saint-Germain may be his best option.

But wife Coleen does not want to leave the country, according to reports, and will only consider a move to a British team so that she's not away from her family.
'It’s causing Wayne and Coleen quite a bit of stress. They don’t want to move abroad. But if he can’t force a move to Chelsea they might have to. They have a lot of thinking to do,' a source told The Sun.
'United have said that, if they sell him, it would only be to a club abroad, making PSG the most likely destination. Wayne would either have to commute to Paris by private jet from their home in Cheshire, or go and live alone in a hotel.'

But while Liverpool-born Coleen was adamant that she wouldn't move away from the North-West a couple of years ago, she is now said to have warmed to the idea of relocating to a London-based team.
A source recently revealed: 'A few years ago Coleen wouldn't have entertained the idea of moving away from the North West. Now she is actively looking into a move down south as an option.'
Coleen, who gave birth to the couple's second son Klay just two months ago, was also having to deal with Twitter abuse from Manchester United fans earlier this month.

The star retweeted an offensive post about her children from a football supporter, following it up by writing: 'Grow up you gang of cranks!!'
Clearly sick of fielding angry comments for her husband, she decided to respond to various tweets by directing them to Wayne's Twitter account.
'Tell your husband that he's no longer welcome at United,' wrote one football fan. 'You tell him mate,' she responded.
Manchester United rejected a £22 million bid for Rooney last week but Jose Mourinho is expected to raise the amount to £30 million.
