The Banana Dress

Today I'm wearing a vintage 80s banana print dress, D&G spectacles and my brand new camera. I'm hopping out to take a few snaps of my cousins newest brood. There's hundreds of them so I'm going to be pretty exhausted by the end of it and may just have to treat myself to a paw massage at Grace Belgravia. Daddy just treated me to membership and I'm already addicted to their veggie patch smoothies. I guess that wasn't his actual reason for getting me in but the cafe is halfway to the gym so I'm almost there!

Overheard at the 2015 Met Gala: Fashion commentary from J. Lo to Sarah Jessica Parker

Another year, another Met Gala and some costume moments that are just too good not to comment upon. Yes, I'm falling back into old ways and bringing forth the fashion commentary when I promised I'd stick to more personal issues on FFG. Well, this is personal. It's my very own "Overheard at the 2015 Met Gala." Alright, so maybe it was just overheard in my own head. But the following are things I would imagine the photographers saying as each and every one of the night's big celebs took to the red carpet. From Rihanna in yellow (a lot of yellow) to a blogger in flesh coloured Calvin, these are the fashion moments on the red carpet at the Met Gala that I just couldn't keep to myself...

Now a little disclaimer here. All comments below are made in good fun. The ensembles on the night were all incredibly designed and immaculately presented. Now, go forth and chuckle.

7. Katy Perry (or is that Demi Moore? ;)) at The 2015 Met Gala:

 "Oh, don't mind me. #vogue #madonna"

8. Lily Collins at The 2015 Met Gala:

"Do you think she credits Audrey Hepburn as a style influence?"

9. Rob Pattinson at The 2015 Met Gala:

10. Chiara Ferragni at The 2015 Met Gala:

"Chiara in Calvin. Blogger red carpet perfection... a great big ole congrats from FFG, girl!" (and yes, that's straight from the heart... a blogger on the red carpet at the Met Gala is pretty significant).

It’s been a pretty crazy week. A weekend in Dallas, 24h in London and now in the calm of Finland. A lot of traveling, pretty much a years climate in 7 days.

For the ones that don’t follow me on Instagram, might be unaware of the nightmare I’ve gone through... I broke my poor toe and have been forced to wear - flats. I’ve hated every minute of it, but we are slowly climbing back in the safety zone. Forced to start low, hence the ‘lower than usual’ heel. They work a bit like a bandage, or at least so reads my theory. I also got to wear my brand new dress, ‘apron dress’ it’s called. I indeed felt like a naughty little helper.
