It felt almost like I was strolling down the streets of southern France when we took these photos in the middle of busy Paris, god this city is amorous, carrying its romantic reputation for a reason. This jumpsuit (or anything that Mr. Self-portrait produces) is both literally and aesthetically everything, to put it lightly. It has been an ideal end of fashion week month ‘I’m-out-of-outfits’ savior. It has it all: A tailored-like fit, lace, culottes with a deep cool blue hue, not to mention the sex factor, all rolled into something that slips on you with just a zipper, leaving spectators admiring your well put together styling, when the truth is you only need the one garment to pull off the look. That is how I would best describe Self-Portrait, without a doubt the most discusses, worn and adored name in the bizz today.

First Impressions : Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation

Im not scared to admit that I’m a total Charlotte Tilbury Fangirl. I ABSOLUTELY adore her. She’s one of the most passionate people I’ve ever met when it comes to makeup and all things beauty and thats a really endearing quality in a person. I love her style and her look and I just… ah I LOVE HER. Im not even ashamed to admit that.

A few days ago Im opened some of my post and I couldn’t believe it when I saw the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation waiting for me. I'd heard so much about the stuff and it's been on my list of products to try for so so long. The Magic Foundation is a full coverage, demi matte and designed to cover everything from acne scarring, redness and discolouration. Sounds like the dream right? While I haven’t given it a full trial yet I thought I’d do a first impressions (which I actually recorded on camera in this vlog).

As a full coverage girl who has a lot of scarring from spots - I need a bit of extra coverage. I found this foundation to be build-able rather than instant full coverage. I tried the foundation it on a particularly bad skin day, I had a rather large duo of under the skin spots on my cheek as well as a nasty breakout along my jawline so I knew testing the coverage would be perfect.  On first buff it evened out my skintone and gave me decent glow covering the scarring and blurring my pores. I needed a good stipple on my problem areas to cover that and even then after a while it faded on the spotty areas. I felt like the foundation meshed with my skin well and blended in for a really seamless look without that mask like finish. While it felt a little tackier on the face than I’d like, it was nothing that a dusting of powder couldn't fix. The finish was really dreamy too, that lovely soft lit from within glow while also being pretty and matte. Longevity was a little hit and miss, I wore it on a day where it was pretty warm so I was a bit shiney throughout the day which again I had to powder.

Im going to keep using it and see how it goes, like I said I don’t hate it and have a good feeling abpit the product. I do think it’s nice but I think I need to figure out how to make it work on my blemishes or maybe exclusively use it on "good skin" days. I will do a proper review in time but I do think it's interesting to see what people think of first application. I know I've tried products for the first time and absolutely hated them but then tried them again and grew to love them! Believe it or not I used to actually HATE Laura Mercier Silk Creme and I now lament it's discontinuation!

Discovered: Top 10 Halloween Holiday American junk foods

There are millions of reasons I love coming home to America during the festive season... but one of the definite highlights is a visit to the local supermarket. It's always fun to scope out what America's food manufacturers have flavoured to meet the needs of the holidays ahead. Take Halloween, for example. This is a holiday that is more or less aimed at rotting our teeth and filling our bellies with refined sugar. You won't hear any complaints from me. It's a holiday favorite. This year, however, it seems that every single item of junk food has a festive twist - whether it be pumpkin or candy corn flavoured. It wasn't enough to give us oversized bags of candy for tricker treaters. Oh no, we now have to have the candy itself meet the seasonal flavor requirements. Junk food in America is now officially transformed according to the holiday period, and, yes, it's worth highlighting to the masses.

For those of you shopping for Halloween on American soil, here are my top ten suggestions for Halloween junk food... straight from the package.

1. Hershey's kicks us off with Candy Corn choc...
 2. Yes, even cheese balls are in on the game this autumn. From orange to green. Actually, they didn't really even have to change colour to meet the seasonal requirements. Odd.
 3. Oreo- you are just getting out of control. How many flavours of Oreos have you released now? Three hundred? Oh hell, who am I kidding? Love every new release... keep 'em coming!
 4. Thank you Hostess, for Candy Corn Cupcakes. Because what are cupcakes without a candy corn flavor this autumn?
5. Peeps aren't just for Easter. Although, this changed ages ago. For Halloween we have Pumpkins and Ghosts. In case you didn't know - these are basically just marshmallows covered in sugar. One of your five-a-day, naturally.
 6. Bat Brownies... ok, a little obvious.
7. Looks like M&Ms are taking inspiration from Starbucks this season. Pumpkin Spice Latte M&Ms, really? Or if that's not your speed, there are candy corn M&Ms at the ready.
 8. Forget chocolate chip cookies. It's all about the pumpkin spice cookies from Toll House!
 9. This takes the cake...or shall I say "tops the cake?"  Maple Bacon frosting!
10. Why not have Candy Corn and Pumpkin flavored marshmallows?
