"What a girl wants" for Christmas Day 9: Hermes Apple Watch

I have an Hermes dream... it's a reoccurring dream and basically just features me, decked out in head to toe Hermes, from the bag to the bracelets to the soft and flowing textures of the clothes. I'm some complex, I know. Anyway, it's a luxurious dream that's been floating around in this big old head of mine for a while now. Only, in 2015, said dream had a bit of an update in the form of an Apple Watch. Yes, a collaboration was born. Apple and Hermes had come together to make sweet sartorial magic for tech/fashion lovers everywhere. There's even a special orange box made in honour of the joining of two industry greats. You just can't ignore these things. Now, I have the Apple Watch- I just need the Hermes strap under the tree this year. Santa... won't you please!?

Banana Republic: The Kensington Edit!

This is the dawning of a new day when it comes to Banana Republic, people. Long gone are the moments where we would simply venture into BR stores to buy jeans, t-shirts or great winter coats. Ok, let me take that back. Those days still exist in the great basics found in every Banana Republic store, but with AW15 the Banana Republic brand is truly taking on the trends, if not writing them entirely themselves as new season wonders. For autumn winter we're seeing colour pops of neon green, classic plaids presented in oversized coats and scarves, and rich textures paired with updated wardrobe classics - basically I would easily dare you to walk in store and not find something you want to walk away with. It's a tough one. But, I digress.

For those of you living in and around Kensington, or for those visiting soon, allow me to draw you in with a few pics of the new store - product of course being the highlight. While you may be easily distracted by the lime green essentials, I will just say that the decor of the new Banana Republic Kensington is quite beautiful, fresh and perfect for displaying items that long to make it in your closet edit this season. Look, love and visit soon!

Before it gets way too cold and way too dark, I’m reflecting back on the warmer days. Can’t say that I really believe in a seasonal summer or autumn attire, my style remains somewhat stable, give or take a few layers. I fell in love with this white collar dress whilst looking for something completely different, soon the dress became one of those pieces that seems to go with absolute everything I own. Blazer and power accessories to match and I feel like the grown up version of something I never got to experience - being a British school girl.
