He knows talent when he sees it: Craig Revel Horwood steps out after hip surgery with new boyfriend, BGT star Damon Scott

When you've had major surgery, its nice to know there is someone waiting at your bedside.
And Craig Revel Horwood would have certainly felt that sort of security thanks to his new boyfriend Damon Scott.
Damon - who appeared in the first series of Britain's Got Talent - joined the Strictly Come Dancing judge in central London on Thursday.

Craig, 48, required the help of a crutch to help him walk down the street, and he looked a world apart from the tuxedo-wearing, sharp-tongue judge on the BBC dancing competition panel.
The Austrailian-born choreographer looked relaxed in cargo pants, a striped jumper and a leather jacket.
Damon, 34 - who went on the ITV talent show as a puppeteer - was just as casual in jeans and a black leather jacket, just like his celebrity boyfriend.

Craig looked remarkably well considering he had just undergone hip replacement surgery, an operation needed as a result of his years of dancing, or as he put to Susanna Reid in an interview: 'all those years of can-cans and dropping in the splits.

'The problem is, of course, it's like all sports injuries. Sportsmen and women need hip replacements. It was all those years of classical ballet and forcing turn-outs. It can be quite detrimental to your body, he said.
But after the surgery, Craig was more than optimistic: 'Hip op done and have stood for the first time, now for the walking bit - feeling great though.'
And he must also feel great to be back in a relationship after splitting with his long-term partner Grant MacPherson a year ago.
Speaking of his new beau the talent show judge revealed in his exclusive column for Woman magazine: 'He's a puppeteer, you might recognise him as The Monkey Man from Britain's Got Talent a few years back,' Craig said, 'He's 6ft 4in, so for once I'm the shorter one in the relationship and he's just divine, darlings.'
