There is a
double dose of Simon Cowell on Saturday night's episode of Britain's
Got Talent when the showbiz supremo comes face to face with his
namesake.
The
other Simon - a 37-year-old singer from Northumberland - tries to
impress the judges with his version of When You Tell Me That You Love Me
by Diana Ross
He tells judge Simon Cowell: 'It's an honour to have this name,' adding: 'I just feel like I'm meant to be on the stage in some way, it's just my biggest dream to win this show.'
Pleased to meet you: Simon Cowelll comes face-to-face with his namesake on Brtain's Got Talent
His
act impressed at least one of the judges, with David Walliams telling
him: 'You definitely have more talent than this Simon Cowell.'
But the Daily Star reports that Simon, 54, is unimpressed by the act.
Buzzing
him off, he says: 'You've no idea how much I wanted this to be great so
I could say at the end of the show: "The winner of Brtain's Got Talent
is Simon Cowell."

'I mean, I live for that moment. I never thought I'd say this but, Simon Cowell, it's a no.'
Also
in the show, TV mogul Simon Cowell has to put up with an impressionist
taking him off when 43-year-old Jon Clegg goes on stage.
He
tells the judges his act, which includes impressions of Alan Carr and
Louis Walsh as well, was inspired by his father's success in another TV
talent show - New Faces - in 1987.
Having a laugh: TV mogul Simon Cowell has to put
up with an impressionist taking him off when 43-year-old Jon Clegg
appeared on stage
He said: 'When I was growing up, my dad decided to give up his job as a car salesman and become an impressionist.
'Growing
up in that sort of environment, when your dad's on stage all the time
and you're always in the wings, it was inevitable that I would end up
doing it.'
Meanwhile, former BGT star Connie Talbot, now 13, has become a star in Asia.
The young
singer was a huge hit when she appeared on the very first series of
Britain's Got Talent - but her star failed to rise in the UK as Simon
Cowell pulled out of a record deal with her.
Back in 2007 Cowell promised the sweet, girl he would make her £1 million after her rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow.
But his record company pulled out of the deal at the last minute because of her age.
