Exploring The HALL Collection in Notting Hill

I have a new obsession to fess up to and it's so very unhealthy. Well, it's unhealthy for the credit card. It's very heavy in health, however, when it comes to decoration. A few weeks ago I was officially introduced to The Hall Collection in Notting Hill. The shop is hidden away on the corner of Lonsdale Road and Colville Road, not exactly in the hustley and bustley part of Notting Hill, but rather in a sort of "seek and you shall find" location. I'm referring to it as the ultimate treasure hunt, as what you find when you arrive is well worth the time you take to seek it out.

For me, the magic of this beautiful collection begins with the founder - Min Lee. Lee, a former jewellery buyer for Net-a-Porter, has put together a curated collection in store that will have you wishing you had more arms, ears and fingers to adorn. She is fabulously charming and so incredibly passionate about her items that you feel as if you are buying into the family when you walk away with a piece of the collection.

In store, you'll find three sections to peruse. There's the Hall Collection - jewellery designed by Ming Lee and contemporary in its approach. There are also collections of guest designers that are constantly on rotation in store. Lastly, and my personal favourite, are the antique selections. These items are personally picked by Ming Lee and altered, when need be, to fit into a modern woman's wardrobe. This could mean lengthening of a necklace or repurposing a stone. In short, while you are spoilt for choice, the collection still feels highly edited and wonderfully easy to shop. You aren't overwhelmed by the bling in store, but rather seduced by the sophistication of the pieces available to purchase.

If you are in the Notting Hill / Westbourne Grove area, this is a treasure trove not to be missed!
