PARLIAMENT'S Environmental Audit Committee has called on the government to consider a diesel scrappage scheme and ensure that Vehicle Excise Duty changes tackle the harmful pollution caused by nitrous oxides emissions in addition to the current focus on climate-changing CO2, in an attempt to encourage drivers to move away from diesel vehicles.
