Aberdeen told to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Gareth Bale... and Kris Boyd by nine-year-old fan Boyd Gibson

Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Gareth Bale, Mario Balotelli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are just some of the names Aberdeen should be looking at signing this summer, according to nine-year-old fan Boyd Gibson.
The youngster continues that Theo Walcott, Robert Lewandowski, Thiago Silva, Samuel Eto'o, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Kaka and Kris Boyd should all be snapped up by Dons' boss Derek McInnes this summer as he looks to build on this season's third-placed Scottish Premiership finish and Scottish League Cup win.

Aberdeen posted Gibson's shopping list on their official Twitter account and claimed they would be passing on his thoughts to the manager.

Although the young fan's suggestions were shrugged off in a light-hearted way by the Scottish club, McInnes will already be hard at work looking at ways to add depth to his squad this summer.
After qualifying for the Europa League next season the Dons will play their opening fixture in the competition on July 3, while the World Cup is still ongoing.
A final day of the season defeat against Motherwell meant Aberdeen finished third in the Scottish Premiership and made them the earliest starting participants of Scotland's four European competitors next season.

Brendan Rodgers enjoys holiday in Spain with Charlotte Hinds, a former Liverpool employee

He may have narrowly missed out on guiding Liverpool to their first league title in 24 years, but Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers was all smiles as he enjoyed an outing with Charlotte Hind and her daughter in a small Spanish village.
The Northern Irishman is holidaying ahead of pre-season in July after suffering Premier League heartache last month.

The Liverpool boss recently revealed he felt under pressure to get his side back into the Champions League as the club have such rich history in the competition.
He told liverpoolfc.com: 'I left pre-season in a good moment, finished with a real team spirit and at that point we were clear we wanted to fight for a Champions League position.
'It was a huge challenge, purely because of the size and greatness of the club.
'It was five odd seasons since we had played at that level and the investment that goes in and what teams were spending to try to get in there, never mind stay in there, was obviously significant, so for us we knew it would be a big challenge.'

Between winning the Premier League with Manchester City and leading Belgium's charge at the World Cup, Vincent Kompany somehow found time to host a gala fundraiser and dance party featuring 2manydjs for children in poverty.
The City and Belgium captain donned a three-piece suit and black tie and accompanied his wife Carla Higgs to his Go Crazy for Charity event in Brussels on Wednesday night.

The party, which had Belgian club superstars 2manydjs and DJ Lorenzo Ottati scheduled to play at 1am and 3am respectively, was in honour of SOS Children's Villages for which Kompany is an international ambassador.
Kompany, just back from a City jaunt to Abu Dhabi and due to appear in a friendly for Belgium against Luxembourg on May 26, has been involved with the charity for nine years.
When named an international ambassador in April, Kompany said: 'No child should grow up alone, without love and a stable home. Yet, sadly over 150 million children experience the fear of being alone, without love, without a family and without safety and stability.'
Belgium's World Cup group H campaign begins on June 17 against Algeria.

The former Lazio and Birmingham hitman is understood to be closing in on a move to Upton Park for an undisclosed fee from Argentine club Velez Sarsfield.
The Hammers face competition from a host of other suitors including Sunderland but the 27-year-old star, who has scored 19 goals in 29 league games in his second spell at boyhood club Sarsfield, is believed to be heading for talks in the capital this week with his model wife Natalie Weber in tow.

Luiz Suarez is major doubt for World Cup as Liverpool star faces knee surgery to leave Uruguay fearing worst ahead of England clash

Luis Suarez is set to miss the World Cup after it was revealed he will undergo surgery imminently on a knee injury picked up in training on Wednesday.
The striker - who was voted PFA Player of the Year for his performances at Liverpool this season - is Uruguay's talisman but could miss up to between four to six weeks.
And, in a direct boost to England's chances of progressing out of Group D, Suarez may miss the entirety of the first stage after immediate surgery today following results of an MRI scan, according to reports in Uruguay.

Out? Luis Suarez could miss the World Cup after it was revealed he needs surgery on a knee injury
Major blow: Suarez is Uruguay's talisman and is set to miss the whole of the first stage

A Uruguay FA official said: ‘It was all unexpected. The latest information is that we are deciding what to do, but there are increased possibilities (involving surgery).
'I can’t tell you anything more. The AUF (Uruguay Federation) will announce it officially on Thursday morning.’
The South American's are fancied as potential dark horses and face Roy Hodgson's side as well as Italy and Costa Rica.
Suarez was checked over by medical staff on Wednesday after picking up the knock in training just three weeks before the tournament starts in Brazil.
Recovery time from such arthroscopic surgery usually takes between 15-20 days, but with the final 23-man squad needed to be ratified on June 2, it leaves the country with very little wiggle room.
Any decision to include Suarez from there - not match fit - would represent a sizeable risk.
They won't be encouraged to know that Fernando Torres underwent meniscus surgery prior to the 2010 World Cup in April and didn't play his first game for seven weeks.

Luis Suarez: (77 caps, 38 goals)
Edinson Cavani: (60 caps, 20 goals)
Diego Forlan: (107 caps, 36 goals)
Christian Stuani: (66 caps, 13 goals)
Abel Hernandez: (11 caps, 7 goals)
The 27-year-old arrived in Montevideo for training on Tuesday morning, feeling discomfort in a session with Oscar Tabarez's squad on Wednesday but continuing before encountering the major problem later in the evening.
Roberto Pastoriza, executive of the Uruguayan Football Association, confirmed that they had attempted to keep the news under wraps.
Developments heap more pressure on Paris Saint-Germain's Edinson Cavani, who will lead the line when they face Costa Rica on June 14.
Veteran Diego Forlan - so impressive in South Africa four years ago - was expected to play a bit-part role but may now be needed alongside Cavani.
They do still have other options, with Espanyol's Christian Stuani and Palermo's Abel Hernandez waiting in the wings.

Princess Beatrice attends Buckingham Palace garden party in pretty floral outfit

Earlier this week Princess Beatrice visited the RHS Chelsea Flower Show with the Queen. And it seems the floral exhibits gave her style inspiration as she attended the first garden party of the season at Buckingham Palace today.
The Queen's granddaughter wore a colourful flower print skirt with a long sleeve cream blouse with an embellished collar and gold buttons.
She continued the floral theme with her headwear, wearing a fascinator topped with a cream rose designed by Welsh milliner Robyn Coles.

The outfit was a safe bet for the 25-year-old who isn't always praised for her fashion choices. Most famously, she was mocked around the world for the unusual Philip Treacy-designed fascinator she wore to her cousin Prince William's wedding to Kate Middleton.
When it came to her footwear today, she seems to have taken her cue from another Middleton - Pippa - who recently advised against wearing heels to an event on grass.
The sister of the Duchess of Cambridge offered her pearls of wisdom in the June edition of Vanity Fair, referring to the best way to dress for a day at Ascot.

Fast & Furious insurance claim 'set to reach $50M' following Paul Walker's death

In the midst of filming Fast & Furious 7, Paul Walker's sudden death sent the nation into shock in November.
And the tragedy is now reported to spark the 'largest insurance claim in Hollywood history,' according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Estimates place the claim at $50 million, as the final installment of the Fast & Furious franchise is currently undergoing an elaborate, action-packed 13-week shoot which isn't set to end until July.

This may have caused some strain between Universal Pictures and its insurer, Fireman's Fund, as expected costs have risen exponentially since Paul's passing.
'They are finishing the film more or less as scripted, replacing Paul with [computer-generated] face replacement,' a source told the publication of the blockbuster movie initially budgeted at $200 million and now estimated to be at least $250 million.
To take on his physical proportions, Paul's brothers, Cody, 25, and Caleb, 36, are filling in when necessary.

And to mimic Paul's action-packed performance as Brian O'Conner, filmmakers have recruited actor Peter Jackson Weta, who is taking on the effects work.
To pull this off, three cameras, as well as main-unit cameras, are needed.
'There is a massive amount of gear,' the source added. 'Everything they want with Paul gets done three times over. Three [actors] times seven cameras per shot is a clusterf*** of money being spent.'
Director James Wan is also said to be creating new scenes from unused footage from the past two Fast & Furious films.
Tragedy: Paul died in a car crash in Santa Clarita, California in November

Paul's tragic Porsche car crash resulted in the filming to be delayed over four months, writer Chris Morgan to rework scenes and actors - including Vin Diesel - to be paid more due to additional shooting time.
The grey area for the movie-business insurance and the studio's broker, Aon/Albert G. Ruben, lies in determining how much the rest of the film would have cost with Paul on set as opposed to currently without.
Insurance broker Brian Kingman of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. believes Fireman's Fund will have to splash out over $50 million on the feature film.

While a Universal spokeswoman claims that Fireman's Fun has been 'nothing but supportive,' another source claims the insurer and Universal don't agree with how much Paul's death has impacted filming costs.
Regardless, Universal did resume filming back in April and is even planning to follow-up with one or more sequels.
Fast & Furious 7, which is said to act as a tribute to Paul, is due out April 10, 2015.

Painting of Katy Perry dressed as a cupcake will hang next to Madonna and Beyonce at National Portrait Gallery

Katy Perry is getting an honor usually reserved for later in life. Her portrait is joining the collection at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C.
The museum said Wednesday that a 2010 portrait of Ms Perry by artist Will Cotton, entitled 'Cupcake Katy,' will go on view beginning June 18. It will be part of a rotating display of recently acquired portraits.
The tongue-in-cheek picture depicts Ms Perry, 29, as a cupcake - with the cake's foils comprising her dress and its colorful toppings forming a headband.

Ms Perry previously collaborated with Mr Cotton on the design for her 'California Girls' music video - which featured clouds made of cotton candy and a bionic bra constructed of two cupcakes.
Mr Cotton, 49, is an accomplished artist in his own right, and has earned acclaim for the pastry and candy motif that carries across a majority of his work.
Rather than appearing chintzy, his work at reinterpreting these sweets through sketches, sculpture, and paintings leaves a sophisticated and jovial result.
His paintings have been known to sell for between $60,000 and $100,000.
In 2013, Mr Cotton styled Elle Fanning for the cover of New York magazine's spring style issue, dressing her in high fashions that had been overlaid with frosting and candy sprinkles. The shoot was nominated for a National Magazine Award in the feature photography category.

The artist is often inspired by women like Miss Fanning and Ms Perry who have publicly displayed their preference for off-kilter femininity.
National Portrait Gallery director Kim Sajet says Ms Perry comes from a tradition of strong women entertainers who challenge their supposedly superficial pop personas. She says on closer look, Ms Perry is a complex figure.
Other pop stars in the Smithsonian collection include Beyonce, Madonna and Michael Jackson.

Mike Myers is 'proud' of Kanye West's infamous Hurricane Katrina telethon rant in which he branded President Bush 'racist'

He famously wore a look of utter shock at the time.
But Mike Myers has said Kanye West 'spoke the truth' during an infamous Hurricane Katrina rant during which the hip hop star claimed 'George Bush doesn't care about black people.'
In fact the Austin Powers favourite said he is 'proud' to have been standing next to he furious rapper when he delivered his emotional outburst during their appearance on a national 2005 telethon to aid victims of the disaster

The Canadian star told GQ: 'For me it isn't about the look of embarrassment on my face, it is truly about the injustice that was happening in New Orleans.
'I'm the guy next to the guy who spoke a truth.
'I assume that George Bush does care about black people, I mean I don't know him, I'm going to make that assumption, but I can definitively say that it appeared to me watching television that had that been white people, the government would have been there faster.'
The 50-year-old, who has taken out US citizenship, also said he was deeply moved at seeing the plight his adopted countrymen were suffering.
He said: 'I remember just being so upset and feeling, ironically, that if this was white people on roofs, the army would be there in five seconds.

'And these are my fellow citizens, who just happen to be people of color, sitting on roofs for multiple days.'
He also tried to play down the amount of publicity his reaction attracted, saying it was very much a side issue.
The Wayne's World star said: 'To me that's really the point -- the look on my face is, to me, almost insulting to the true essence of what went down in New Orleans.
'To have the emphasis on the look on my face versus the fact that somebody spoke truth to power at a time when somebody needed to speak?  I'm very proud to have been next to him.'
Ironically, he should not even have been sharing the stage with the Golddigger favourite, but a last minute change of plan was foisted on him by the producers of NBC's A Concert for Hurricane Relief.

He said: 'I went there specifically because I wanted to help the Red Cross. I was supposed to be by myself, and I was like "fine," then they said "Do you mind doing it with somebody else?"
'And I always remembered that Live Aid thing of "leave your egos at the door," so I said, "Sure, of course." And they said, "Would you do it with Kanye West?" and I said, "Uh sure."'
'I actually wasn't familiar with his work. And then he said he was going to take some liberties with the thing … But I didn't know that the liberty would be calling out the president.'
While Mike has backed the rapper over the incident, Kanye has long since apologised for his conduct.
In 2010 he admitted: 'I would say of George Bush, in my moment of frustration, I didn’t have the grounds to call him a racist.
Too little too late: President Bush, seen here visiting a food bank during the disaster, was criticised for the slow federal response to Hurricane Katrina
Too little too late: President Bush, seen here visiting a food bank during the disaster, was criticised for the slow federal response to Hurricane Katrina

'But I believe that in a situation of high emotion like that, we as human beings don’t always choose the right words.'
The President also gave his thoughts on the incident in his memoirs Decision Points.
He said: 'I faced a lot of criticism as president. I didn’t like hearing people claim that I lied about Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction or cut taxes to benefit the rich.
'But the suggestion that I was racist because of the response to Katrina represented an all-time low.'
At least 1,833 people died in the cyclone and subsequent floods, and it was the deadliest US hurricane since 1928.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency took days to establish operations in New Orleans, and seemed to lack a plan of action, and officials, including President Bush, seemed unaware of just how bad things were in New Orleans and elsewhere.

Kanye West calls out a fan for buying a fake pair of his Air Yeezy sneaker designs

One Kanye West fan has been left broken-hearted after the singer called him out for buying a fake pair of his Air Yeezy sneaker designs on Monday in Paris.
The fan had approached Mr West to sign the shoes outside of a cafĂ© where he had been lunching with Kim Kardashian. Never one to exercise subtlety, Mr West said of the sneakers: ‘These are not real though, you know that, right?’
The fan, who had likely paid hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, for the rare sneakers couldn’t believe it, saying: ‘Are you serious?’

Mr West, 36, graciously responded, ‘These are not real, it’s fine though,’ and signed them regardless.
‘Damn, broke my heart,’ the duped fan said as Mr West loaded into a car with the help of a security entourage, where fiancĂ© Ms Kardashian was waiting.
While the fan’s identity remains unknown, a video of their interaction was posted to Instagram by a female French Kimye fan named Dodo, whose account appears to be something of a dedicated fan page to the couple.
Mr West began designing Air Yeezys in collaboration with Nike in 2007. He spent two years working on development with the brand before officially releasing the style in 2009.

But before they came out, Mr West created buzz for the style by debuting them on stage at the 2008 Grammy Awards during his performance of Stronger and Hey Mama.
The $215 sneakers, named for Mr West’s ‘Yeezy’ nickname, sold out almost immediately, and those who missed out on the shoes in stores have been known to shell out up to $10,000 for a pair on reselling sites like eBay - creating an opportune environment for counterfeiters.

The popular style is formatted as a high-top basketball sneaker, comprised of contrasting grains and textures of leather. They have a wide strap across the top of the foot, and are known for utilizing contrast colorways like white, cream and red or black, cream and lime green.
