Rob Kardashian skips Kim's wedding and flies back to LA after dubbing it 'superficial bulls***'

Rob Kardashian has skipped his sister Kim's wedding to Kanye West after feeling under pressure about his weight.

The 27-year-old, her only brother, is said to have dubbed the extravagant celebrations 'superficial bulls***' and flown back to Los Angeles direct from Paris on Saturday.

His decision followed a row with Kim prior to the pre-wedding lunch at designer Valentino's chateau.

A source told X17: 'Rob said he was sickened by Kim and Kanye's display of wealth and clothes and beauty and called it 'superficial bulls***' but Kim was pissed that Rob hadn't made an effort to drop any weight over the past few months.

'Rob basically thinks Kim cares about him only for his appearance and he said he'd 'make life easier' for her and just leave.'

And he was as good as his word, skipping not just the wedding but the rehearsal dinner at the Palace Of Versailles and the Valentino luncheon.

'Rob booked his flight for Saturday morning and skipped the lunch at Valentino's,' the source continued.

'He just doesn't seem to feel comfortable or happy around his family at all. They're all wrapped up in the same pretty world and he just doesn't fit in.'

Inside LAX, Rob appeared to be struggling with his emotions looking both pained and angry as he texted on his phone.

However, as he left the airport the sock designer kept his head down and covered his mouth with his jumper as he talked down the phone.

Rob seemed emotionless as he walked towards his car, with confused photographers' asking why he was not at the wedding.

The reality star ignored their questions however, and did not lift his head.

Rob obviously hoped to not be spotted and dressed as incognito as possible wearing black sweatpants, T-shirt, trainers and cap.

Until the wedding the 27-year-old has been staying out of the public eye so much so, that until last Sunday, Rob had not been seen in public since January.  

He has not had an easy year.

Last month several reports emerged suggesting that a depressed Rob had sought help for emotional and substance abuse issues.  

Rob's representative denied this was the case. 

He has stepped away from the reality show that made his family famous in this latest season and was noticeably absent from the recent filmed family vacation to Thailand.

Rob has noticeably struggled with his weight in the last year will reports suggesting he has gained around 100 pounds. 

It is believed Rob's struggles started after his split with singer Rita Ora, whom he accused of cheating on him. 

Last month the star posted on his Twitter, then quickly removed the statement: 'No one will ever understand how much it hurts.'  

Rob was not the only one skipping out on the wedding, Kanye West's best friend Jay Z and famous wife Beyonce were also no shows.

But in avoiding the wedding, Jay Z and Beyonce also swerved a potentially awkward run in with Rachel Roy.

EXCLUSIVE: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's fleet of wedding vehicles are mobbed by screaming fans because they want to see JUSTIN BIEBER!

Wedding guests are gathered at the grand 16 century attraction Fort Belvedere in Florence, but fans racing towards the blacked out procession of vehicles only one person in kind - and it wasn't Kanye West.
At least 20 SUVs have so far driven in to the venue - all with at least five people on board - one of whom is rumoured to be Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber.
MailOnline exclusively report that scores of excited Bieber fans have waited outside the venue all day - and security have been struggling to contain the crowds.

The same source later revealed a teenage Bieber fan requested medical attention and was promptly taken away in an ambulance, adding: 'She was completely alert and awake so not that dramatic. She climbed in herself.'

The Kardashian clan arrived in two blacked-out cars at around 3pm. A woman, believed to be Kim's assistant, then got out of the first car - opening the back door.

The family's entourage carried large dress bags with them as the group made their way in to the venue. Rapper Kanye West arrived alone about 90 minutes earlier.
Guest Jaden Smith was spotted at Florence airport earlier that day - but while he will attend, it is not known if he will be there as Kylie Jenner's boyfriend  despite them being seen in Paris together prior to the big day.
In an interview with Seventeen magazine in December she described him as a 'best friend.'
She said: 'I know I'd have fun with him -- he makes me laugh and he is a great dancer.'

So it can only be seen as the ultimate snub that Jay Z and Beyonce were no-show at the rapper's extravagant nuptials to Kim Kardashian on Saturday.

While the couple's famous friends and family flocked to 16th century Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy, Beyonce and her husband were in the Hamptons, according to US Weekly magazine.

On Friday night, speculation started that the musical powerhouse pair were not coming when they were conspicuous in their absence as 600 guests gathered at the Palace of Versailles to mark the beginning of celebrations.

And the thought of appearing on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the family's reality show, did not go down well.

ITV’s Coronation Street sweeps the board at the National Soap Awards with EIGHT wins

ITV's Coronation Street was the big winner on Saturday at the annual Soap Awards.

The long-running show picked up eight accolades including Best Storyline and Best Single Episode, both of which celebrated the portrayal of Hayley Cropper's death.

It marks the second consecutive year that the series has dominated the ceremony.

It also won Best Actor for David Neilsen and Sexiest Female for Michelle Keegan, who attended in a black and white suit with her boyfriend Mark Wright.
The Best Actress award was collected by Julie Hesmondhalgh. She and Nielsen were named the Best On-screen Partnership in a separate category.
Helen Worth, who plays Gail McIntyre in the show, was given an Outstanding Achievement Award for her long-term presence and contribution.
Meanwhile, Simon Gregson, who plays Steve McDonald, was presented with the Best Comedy Performance gong.

Host: Phillip Schofield presented the annual ceremony in London

Eastenders star Maddy Hill was named Best Newcomer, while the show's Company Manager, Carolyn Wenstein, was awarded Best Off-Screen achievement.

The BBC drama considerably underperformed at the event in Hackney Empire in east London, where insiders were hoping it would win Best Storyline for Lucy Beale's death. 

Meanwhile, Ashley Roberts and Myleene Klass presented the Sexiest Actor award to Danny Mac from Channel 4's Hollyoaks.

The show also picked up Best Young Performance for Ellis Hollins and Villain of the Year for Anna Passey. It was also crowned Best British Soap in a ruling decided by the public, and presented by Sir Ian McKellen.

BREAKING NEWS: Three bodies found in apartment of Hunger Games assistant director's son who slaughtered six - after posting embittered murder video manifesto because he was 'still a virgin at 22'

Three bodies were removed this evening from an apartment building in Isla Vista, California, where the shooter who carried out Friday night’s massacre lived.
Forensic officials were seen Saturday wheeling human remains wrapped in black body bags out of the Capri apartment complex in the 6500 block of Seville Road.
There is no word yet whether this latest disturbing discovery increases the number of victims in the rampage from seven to 10, including the gunman, 22-year-old Elliot Rodger.

Also Saturday, it was revealed that Rodger, the son of assistant director Peter Rodger who has worked on The Hunger Games, penned a 140-page manifesto titles 'My Twisted World' outlining his homicidal plans and published it just hours before the massacre.
‘On the day before the Day of Retribution, I will start the First Phase of my vengeance: Silently killing as many people as I can around Isla Vista by luring them into my apartment through some form of trickery,’ Rodger reportedly wrote. 
Two members of the same sorority at University of California Santa Barbara and a 20-year-old sophomore have been identified by their friends and family as victims of Friday’s night’s drive-by shooting rampage that left at least seven dead, including the gunman, and seven wounded.
The massacre allegedly perpetrated by 22-year-old Elliot Rodger claimed the lives of Veronika Weiss, 19, and Katie Cooper, both sisters at the Delta Delta Delta Greek organization, the victims’ friends revealed.
The father of UCSB English major Christopher Martinez, 20, said his son also perished in the massacre.
Police have yet to officially identify the fatalities and casualties of the incident except for Rodger, the son of an assistant director working on the Hunger Games franchise, who is believed to have died in the incident.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown confirmed at a news conference early Saturday that that seven people were killed, including the gunman, and seven wounded.

MY TWISTED WORLD: ELLIOT RODGER'S MANIFESTO REVEALED

Before Elliot Rodger, 22, grabbed a gun Friday night and a went on a murderous rampage, leaving six people dead and seven other wounded in his wake, he outlined his plans in a 140-page manifesto titles 'My Twisted World.'
In his rambling opus sent to the station KEYT, Rodger revealed that he had originally planned to carry out his attack April 26, but had to postpone it because of a cold.
Rodger, the son of a Hollywood bigwig, revealed plans to lure as many people as possible to his apartment by means of 'trickery' and kill them. He also discussed his desire to stab his two new roommates, whom he described as repulsive and the biggest nerds he had ever seen.
Elliot admitted in writing that he was jealous of his personable younger half-brother and wanted to kill him as well.
His ravings included a lengthy passage about putting women in concentration camps and starving all of them to death, with him watching the spectacle with glee from a tall tower.
'"If I can't have them, no one can," I’d imagine thinking to myself as I oversee this,’ he wrote.  
Rodger believed he was a ‘powerful God' and was convinced that once he dumped a bag of his victims' severed heads in the street, everyone will fear him.
 

Rodger was the son of Peter Rodger, assistant director of the Hollywood film franchise The Hunger Games. Alan Schifman, an attorney for Peter Rodger, has confirmed to KCAL that Elliot Rodger was 'involved' in the shooting.
Schifman told ABC News Elliot was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome and had been subjected to bullying from his classmates for most of his life because he was a loner. The lawyer also said the 22-year-old was being treated by several therapists.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department said the rampage was 'the work of a mad man.' On Saturday night, the law enforcement agency officially confirmed that Rodger was the shooter.

Rodger's father, Peter Rodger, and a social worker assigned to his case, contacted police several weeks ago after being alarmed by YouTube videos 'regarding suicide and the killing of people,' a lawyer said Saturday.
Police interviewed Elliot Rodger and found him to be a 'perfectly polite, kind and wonderful human,' said the family attorney, Alan Schifman.
‘Oh my God, my God. This is terrible,’ said Christian Rivas, a close friend and neighbor of Elliot Rodger’s 18 year-old sister, Georgia, when asked about Friday’s tragedy.
‘I was hanging out with Georgia till two o’clock this morning at the local park and she was happy and laughing - she had no idea what was going on with her brother.  She must be devastated - I feel so bad for her…and the victims.”
‘She was always worried about Elliot.  She would say that she didn’t understand him because he was always such a loner - he didn’t want to have anything to do with anyone else and he had no friends.
‘Georgia said that when they did talk, they would often fight because he didn’t seem to be interested in anything or anyone.  She couldn’t relate late to him and he was so anti-social.”
