Best mascara ever? Ditching the falsies for the new best thing in a bottle...
I'll say it once and I'll say it again. Beauty isn't often featured on FFG, but when it is, you know it's only because I've discovered the best of the best and I'm bursting to share. Over the years, I've made no secret of the fact that I had abandoned mascara for false eyelashes. It isn't the most fun in the world, sitting in a chair for hours on end, but the results were fantastic. That all being said, it's time consuming and not exactly cost effective. Over recent months, I have become an examiner of lashes. I see who's at the brunch table with the bushiest of eyelids and I ask what the secret is. Natural, right? Ok, maybe I'm a bit of an obsessive. But, my craziness has led me to discover an absolute beauty phenomenon.
I must start by saying that I remember using two step mascaras in the past. It was a messy fibre filled experience that left me putting said mascara in the bin. So when I was told that Loreal's False Lash Superstar was something worth trying, I was hesitant seeing a two step programme placed before me. Let me just say this and be done with it. Loreal have created magic - THE BEST MASCARA EVER. Truly, the False Lash Superstar is a thing of incredible genius. Not only do my lashes get a chance to breathe on their own for a while, they still get to look like I'm sporting some sort of enhancement. Let's also throw in that it's 1/15th the cost of extensions - coming in at £10.99 a bottle.I thought I'd give you a look at the whole process, from start to finish - a sort of step by step, if you will. In a nutshell, the two steps go a little something like this, from primer to super lengthening top coat...

Crisp White Shirt
Back in the outfit post swing! This has been a go-to outfit as of late purely because it's so me. Simple colours and textures that just work together in harmony to create a chic but effortless look. The shoes have quickly become my go-to summer shoes purely because they bridge that gap between sandals and a touch of rock n roll which is so my style.
A little S/O to my tiny new ASOS bar necklace. Im not very precious when it comes to jewellery so I rarely buy or wear it anymore (apart from rings!). I just saw this and was instantly drawn to it's minimalistic feel. I don't know why but I just love how it peeks out without being too over the top or in your face. V. pretty.
