Padma Lakshmi opts for elegant midnight blue halterneck (and NO accessories) as she joins Tyra Banks at Flawsome Ball 2014

Sports Illustrated models new and old dominated proceedings at the Flawsome Ball in Manhattan, but Padma Lakshmi caught the eye as she made an entrance at the event on Tuesday evening.
The 43-year-old actress and cookbook author opted for a midnight blue evening dress that clung to her slender frame as she posed for photos at swish Wall Street venue Cipriani Club 55 as proceedings got underway.
Padma’s sleeveless outfit showed off a pair of nicely toned arms, and the actress ensured it dominated by choosing to forgo accessories ahead of her night out.

With her use of make-up subtle and limited, the Top Chef host’s overall look was minimal and considered – thus guaranteeing she stood out on a red carpet overflowing with otherwise vibrant ensembles.
Padma was joined at the event by model Chrissy Teigen, with whom she posed for a fun snap that eventually found its way onto her Twitter account.
A tweet accompanying the shot, which finds Teigen licking the TV personality’s ear, reads: ‘Me and this girl…’

Taking centre stage at the event was host Tyra Banks, who sported a glittering gold down.
While Teigen is this year's Sports Illustrated covergirl, Tyra took the cover spot 17 years ago in 1997.
The two-time Emmy winner is famed for bringing self-coined terms like 'smize,' 'booty tooch,' and 'flawsome' to the mainstream.
So it was easy for Banks to name her latest bash for the TZONE Foundation program, which benefits the Lower Eastside Girls Center.

Just to scare HALLOWEEN guests: Simon Cowell's face is engraved on pumpkin outside Jonathan Ross' home

The spooky transformation of Jonathan Ross' family home in Hampstead was completed with a particularly eye-catching carved pumpkin.
Although this may sound fairly normal for this time of the year, it was the design that the TV host had chosen which proved to be a little unusual.
The X Factor USA judge Simon Cowell was immortalised on the large orange vegetable, to welcome famous guests to the infamous Halloween party on Thursday.

No one could accuse Ross of not taking Halloween seriously when preparations began on Wednesday, and were finished off with the pumpkin and a gruesome dangling head.
The whole exterior of the TV host's three-storey property was in the process of receiving a ghoulish makeover, as builders got to work transforming it into a spooky castle.
The 52-year-old will be hoping to trump last year's celebration which was attended by Gwen Stefani, Stephen Fry, Bryan Ferry and Chloe Moretz.

The front of the house was covered in large cobwebs and creepy gargoyles, while the windows were boarded up with bars and ivy.
There was a number of pumpkins sat outside the front door in true Halloween style, while the normally white door was hidden by scaffolding.
The star tweeted at the weekend to say: 'We are compiling our Halloween playlist and reminiscing on how good Mighty Boosh were. Nice way to spend a Saturday!'

Simon Cowell comes face-to-face with his namesake on Britain's Got Talent

There is a double dose of Simon Cowell on Saturday night's episode of Britain's Got Talent when the showbiz supremo comes face to face with his namesake.
The other Simon - a 37-year-old singer from Northumberland - tries to impress the judges with his version of When You Tell Me That You Love Me by Diana Ross
He tells judge Simon Cowell: 'It's an honour to have this name,' adding: 'I just feel like I'm meant to be on the stage in some way, it's just my biggest dream to win this show.'

His act impressed at least one of the judges, with David Walliams telling him: 'You definitely have more talent than this Simon Cowell.'
But the Daily Star reports that Simon, 54, is unimpressed by the act.
Buzzing him off, he says: 'You've no idea how much I wanted this to be great so I could say at the end of the show: "The winner of Brtain's Got Talent is Simon Cowell."

'I mean, I live for that moment. I never thought I'd say this but, Simon Cowell, it's a no.'
Also in the show, TV mogul Simon Cowell has to put up with an impressionist taking him off when 43-year-old Jon Clegg goes on stage.
He tells the judges his act, which includes impressions of Alan Carr and Louis Walsh as well, was inspired by his father's success in another TV talent show - New Faces - in 1987.

He said: 'When I was growing up, my dad decided to give up his job as a car salesman and become an impressionist.
'Growing up in that sort of environment, when your dad's on stage all the time and you're always in the wings, it was inevitable that I would end up doing it.'
Meanwhile, former BGT star Connie Talbot, now 13, has become a star in Asia.
The young singer was a huge hit when she appeared on the very first series of Britain's Got Talent - but her star failed to rise in the UK as Simon Cowell pulled out of a record deal with her.
Back in 2007 Cowell promised the sweet, girl he would make her £1 million after her rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow.
But his record company pulled out of the deal at the last minute because of her age.

Simon Cowell's 'gold digger' pregnant lover 'has demanded he tie the knot and give her a reality show'... as her husband's brother blasts pop guru for 'unbelievable betrayal'

Carrying on as per usual: Lauren Silverman was seen visiting a shop near her home in New York on Thursday amid reports of 'gold digging' behaviour
The married socialite expecting Simon Cowell’s baby was accused of being a ‘gold digger’ on Thursday.
Lauren Silverman has allegedly issued the X Factor boss with a string of outrageous demands, telling him she wants marriage and her own reality TV show before she will allow him access to the child.
She smiled for the cameras as she made her first public appearance since news of the unplanned pregnancy broke on Wednesday morning.

Carrying on as per usual: Lauren Silverman was seen visiting a shop near her home in New York on Thursday amid reports of 'gold digging' behaviour
In an official statement later that day, Lauren said: 'I am committed to sorting things out with Andrew as amicably as possible to ensure the well-being of our son. I would hope for some space and privacy in order to work through this.'
Her lawyers, Robert Cohen and Bernard Clair of Cohen Clair Lans Greifer & Thorpe LLP, added: 'We are working to resolve this situation in a fair and reasonable way that protects the best interests of our client and her son.'
MailOnline can reveal that Lauren and her estranged husband Andrew worked together to co-ordinate their statements, each emphasising that their seven-year-old son Adam was their joint priority.

Mr Silverman's stated: 'My top priority is protecting my seven year old son while working to resolve all outstanding issues with my wife.  Hopefully people can respect the interest of our child during this process.'
However, Mr Silverman's brother, Alexander, said what had unfolded in the last few days was ‘an unbelievable story of betrayal. It is a sad story and a tragic story’.
Mrs Silverman, 36, had been holed up with her mother Carole and son at the £2.5million family home in the Hamptons, New York.

Mrs Silverman, who is said to be ten weeks pregnant, emerged to walk her son to his school bus wearing a white linen blouse which seemed to hint at a slight bump underneath.
She later stepped out in a black clinging linen dress.
Meanwhile Cowell, 53, faced the press for the first time since the news broke at a television studio 2,500 miles away in Los Angeles.
He refused to answer questions about the baby at an ill-timed X Factor press conference, instead calling the matter 'private' and insisting the matter was 'sensitive'.

It has emerged that Mr Silverman has cited Cowell in divorce papers.

The move, clearly designed to embarrass Cowell, could potentially force him to reveal details of the alleged affair in court.
Mrs Silverman is accused in the papers of adultery with Cowell and of being ‘cruel and inhuman’ towards her husband.
And a friend claimed that the Silvermans were far from being an ‘estranged couple’, as has been suggested.

It is claimed Mr Silverman, a real-estate developer and millionaire casino owner, recently upgraded his wife’s engagement ring with a ten-carat diamond.

Yesterday Mrs Silverman was accused of issuing Cowell with a string of demands – but the claims made against her are alleged to have come from Cowell’s supporters, so could be designed to win favour for the multi-millionaire.

A source claimed: ‘Lauren is now going around telling people that she will be in charge of all his [Cowell’s] properties around the world and has demanded a country home in the Cotswolds.

She has also threatened not to allow him access to the child unless he marries her.

‘Lauren has also started to push Simon to turn her into a reality TV star. She wants her own show like the Kardashians and has already apparently started filming the pregnancy.
'Simon is horrified and has said no. He [Cowell] is already talking about creating separate baby wings in all his homes for Lauren and the baby.

‘His mansions are huge and he will effectively be allowed to carry on with his own life without disruption.

‘He has no problems looking after his heir apparent – that is all he is interested in and he will ensure  Lauren has a roof over her head in order to raise his child.’

Others around Cowell, who is believed to be worth £225million, claimed a wedding was not on the cards.

One said: ‘Simon does NOT, NOT, NOT plan to get married to her [Lauren]. Simon is gearing up for a potentially ugly child support battle.

‘He tried desperately to reach an agreement with Lauren before it went public but she surprised Simon and leaked the news.
‘Simon was hoping to reach a financial agreement with her and then release a joint statement but Lauren is savvy and wants to be famous and when he refused her opening demands for marriage she leaked it.’

Cowell and Miss Silverman are said to have first met on holiday in Barbados around seven years ago, and struck up a relationship around 12 months ago.

Even the music mogul’s closest friends were unaware that they were seeing one another.
Cowell could be hauled in front of a US court to give evidence about his affair with his former friend’s wife after being listed on court papers as co-respondent.

Lauren posted a picture of the pair of them together to her Instagram page cuddled up together during a holiday.
Along with the picture she wrote: ''Me and my lil Simey monster #simoncowell x'

Mr Silverman, 37, is understood to have learned his wife was expecting Cowell’s baby only last month. He filed the papers at Manhattan’s Supreme Court on July 15.

New York is a no-fault divorce state, meaning that couples do not need a reason to end their marriage.
But Mr Silverman is said to feel so betrayed by his wife and his long-term friend that he has filed for a divorce on the grounds of adultery in an attempt to shame the pair in public.

This is heavily discouraged by  lawyers because of the huge costs and the often bitter fallout it causes between couples.

Under US law, Mr Silverman is required to prove his wife’s infidelity, even if she and Cowell admit to the affair. It means Cowell would have to reveal evidence of his meetings with Mrs Silverman, such as hotel receipts and text messages.
He would also have to take a paternity test to show whether or not the baby was his. If adultery is proved, he will be asked to foot Mr Silverman’s legal bills, which could come to more than £200,000.

A source close to Cowell told the Daily Mail last night: ‘This has all turned into a mess for him. This is not the way in which he wanted it to come out. He is now worried about the sponsorship deals he has for his various shows.

‘Companies like Pepsi are not going to be pleased with the headlines about Cowell fathering a child with a married woman.
‘His sponsors could argue that he has brought their brands into disrepute.

‘Many aren’t particularly happy about being associated with his shows as they are struggling with ratings and they could now use this as an excuse to break out of their contracts. Simon is now worried he may lose valuable sources of income.’
Representatives for Cowell refused to comment last night.

Looking lippy! Emma Rigby shows off dramatic look as she pouts her way through press for new US TV show

Pucker up: Emma Rigby showed off her lips while promoting her new TV show in LA on Sunday
While she is well known in the UK for her role in Hollyoaks, she is still relatively unknown in the US.
So ensuring she made an impact Emma Rigby got rather lippy as she attended an event as part of the Disney/ABC Summer 2013 TCA Press Tour in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Promoting her new US TV show Once Upon A Time In Wonderland the 23-year-old looked rather puffed up as she pouted away while dressed in a skintight leather dress.

Emma, who made a name for herself playing Hannah Ashworth, certainly seems to have slotted right into the Hollywood lifestyle.
With her blonde hair and big lips she fitted in with how many consider a typical LA woman to look.
The British star, who has always been known for her big grin, kept her lips natural, allowing their size do the talking, while she accentuated her eyes with heavy black eyeliner.

Her long blonde hair had been straightened and fell sleekly on either side of her shoulders.
While her make-up was certainly sexy, her dress also helped as the deep maroon number clung to her impressive figure.
Falling just below her knees and with long sleeves it proved to be a chic and sexy number at the same time.

Completing her vampy look she wore a pair of metallic stilettos while she carried a small silver clutch.
On Sunday the star was joined by her co-star Naveen Andrews, Michael Socha and Peter Gadiot to discuss the show at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Emma looks set to hit the big time once the show airs due to her role as the murderous Red Queen, which judging by the trailer sees her looking very seductive.

She is seen wearing a skimpy red basque, dramatic dark make-up and piercing berry lips as she battles against protagonist Alice – played by Sophie Lowe.
The new ABC series, a spin-off of 2011's Once Upon A Time, will take place in a pre-curse world, and will see Alice tumble back down the rabbit hole for one last time to see if Wonderland truly is real.
Penned by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, the pilot was directed by Ralph Hemecker and shot on location in Vancouver earlier this year.
Emma has been hotly in-demand since her Hollyoaks days drew to a close in 2010, during which time she won the British Soap Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of her alter-ego Hannah Ashworth's battle with anorexia.
After a string of UK television appearances, the Liverpool-born actress began filming new movie Plastic alongside Sebastian de Souza and Alfie Allen in Miami, Florida, in January.
Once Upon A Time in Wonderland premieres on October 10th on ABC in the US.
