Tammy Lynn Michaels claims she needs more cash for medical bills despite huge divorce settlement from Melissa Etheridge

Rock star Melissa Etheridge's ex Tammy Lynn Michaels is again complaining about her dire financial state, even though she received a generous settlement from her former partner just a year ago.
'My insides are exploding. No insurance means surgerys gonna co$t; 1/2 mil in debt and here comes more,' Michaels wrote on Twitter on Friday.
The 38-year-old actress and blogger did not reveal any more about her medical condition, RadarOnline reported on Saturday

Superstar singer-songwriter Melissa, 52, and Tammy Lynn were registered domestic partners in California after 'marrying' in a commitment ceremony in 2003.  
In 2006 they welcomed their twins, Johnnie Rose and Miller Steven into the world. The tots were conceived by an anonymous donor and carried by Tammy Lynn.
But their love didn't last. The couple had an acrimonious break up four years later and their highly contentious divorce-like settlement wasn't finalised until June 11, 2012.

According to a TMZ report in January, Etheridge agreed to pay Michaels $13,000 a month in spousal support and $10,000 a month in child support.

She and Melissa have continued to battle over custody of their twins, who will be seven next month,  and the couple were in court again in August.
In the meantime, Melissa has started dating Linda Wallem, creator of HBO's Nurse Jackie, soon after her split with Tammy Lynn.

In June she announced that she would celebrate the Supreme Court’s gay rights decision by marrying 52-year-old Linda.
'I look forward to exercising my American civil liberties,’ she wrote on Twitter after the high court  struck down a provision of the Defense of Marriage Act and let stand earlier rulings that California’s Proposition 8 was unconstitutional.
So far the marriage has not taken place.
