Over the past couple of days, surprisingly, I have had a few dozen emails from boyfriends and husbands of friends and readers all asking the same question - what do I buy my special lady for Christmas? My first response - "well, you left that one to the last minute, didn't you Mr. Man?" My second sentence - "never fear, help is here."
While I could offer a number of different suggestions of places to shop for the occasion, I had such a good experience with one online retailer this month, that I thought I'd stick with what works. A few weeks ago I partnered with Farfetch to showcase three ways to wear a Charlotte Simone scarf. As I'm never home to accept packages, I used the in-store delivery option Farfetch offers with online purchases. Basically you can order anything and have it delivered to your local Farfetch affiliated boutique for pickup. Couldn't have been easier, and so I'm thinking it's perfectly man-friendly when it comes to gifting. It's a cinch and the selection online with Farfetch is above and beyond what's needed to make dreams come home this Christmas. Now, I realize the world of online luxury can sometimes seem daunting, so I've put together my gift guide for the perfect last minute luxury gift. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO ORDER, if you want your gifts to arrive on time.... so get clicking! For Londoners - check out the same day delivery option! Now, presenting, last minute luxuries every woman will love this Christmas (and, perhaps most importantly, all the categories of gifts I'm hoping to find underneath my Christmas tree this year)!
In no particular order:
1. A great pair of high heels.
2. The IT bag she's casually mentioned 10 or 15 times in passing.
3. Promise her a great adventure! Or at least hint at it with a great beach coverup.
4. Giving the gift of a ring, doesn't have to mean engagement!
5. Every TIME she thinks of you!? Yes, the perfect watch will mean she thinks of you every TIME she glances at her wrist.
