Accomplished: Former X Factor finalist Ruth Lorenzo gave a stunning performance in which she was drenched by rain on Eurovision
The singer looked stunning in a full-length silver gown, which trailed the floor and was embellished with beading.
Part-way through the song, she was showered by rain which added to the drama of her diva-like performance.
She performed her self-penned song in English and Spanish after beating Spanish stars Brequette, Jorge Gonzalez, La Dama and Raul to compete on Eurovision.
The star has revealed that she wrote her Eurovision song, which reached number seven in Spain, in a London restaurant after she was dropped by her record label.
The singer made it through to the live final of the X Factor in 2008, which was won by Alexandra Burke, after she was mentored by Danni Minogue.
Ruth and Simon Cowell famously enjoyed a flirtation on the show, where Ruth belted out popular hits such as Prince's Purple Rain.
She released her debut single
Burn in 2011 which reached number 16 in the Spanish charts and followed
it with her UK single The Night in 2013, which failed to chart.
The release coincided with Lorenzo showing off a brand new look after losing more than two-stone in weight.
‘I lost two stone over the last year – through a combination of boxing, sky diving and dancing! I love my sexy new look,’ she said at the time.
‘I love that now I can wear all these amazing dresses from designers like Vivienne Westwood and my girl Dannii Minogue's Project D.’
The 2014 Eurovision Song Contest was won by Austria's Conchita Wurst, who sang Rise Like A Phoenix, while British entry Molly Smitten-Downes took seventeeth place
